Overall, a ton of positives and very few items that varied. This was our 7th different AI resort (Cabo, PV & Playa Del Carmen) and one of our best experiences. Top Scores - Entertainment, Activities, S...taff, Drinks, Rooms, Pool & Proximity to town. Average to good - Food (ranged from good to excellent), exercise facility. We traveled with our 20 something sons & their girlfriends. Lively place and wide range of visitors 20s-60's. Staff/Friendliness - out of all of our AI visits, I would put Breathless staff at the top. Waiters, bartenders (lobby & pool bar), activity folks, etc. - all were extremely nice and provided quick service. They really go the extra mile - please tip. Activities - all day long they have fun activities on beach, near pool or on rooftop ranging from volleyball, spanish lessons, yoga, tequila tastings, art/wine (painting), pool blackjack..... We really enjoyed a guided 6 mile round trip hike to Cabo's highest point with Christopher. There is a ton of fun activities. Night Entertainment - some of the best we have seen, not cheesy shows. Really fun rock band one night on rooftop terrace/bar, lone country singer another night near lobby bar, and the fire show was a hi-lite - it was very professional. Drinks - very good, not small cups (tip, bring your own Yeti to keep your drinks cold). Good tequila/rum/vodka selections but like other resorts, lacking bourbon. Basic wines at dinner were fine. Food - ranged from excellent to good. The breakfast buffet was decent and you had one sit down breakfast option two (Bites). For lunch, the restaurant near the pool had great pizza & tacos, food took a long time. Dinner - we tried them all - Italian (4 of our dinners were amazing, 2 so so), Mideastern (really good), Seafood (salmon was excellent, tuna was decent), Asian was really good. Overall, 8 of 10 but I have had slightly better food overall at another resort. Rooms - really clean and spacious. Nice view of Marina but slightly loud sea lions & morning fishing folks. Room cleaning was very good and waters/beer replaced 2X per day. Pool - really nice infinity pool with view out over ocean. Got a bit tired of the "thump a thump" music - DJ wouldn't mix in classic rock/country.... they are on a pretty set regimen. Pool service was excellent for drinks and you could get limited food menu delivered to your seats if you didn't want to sit in restaurant for lunch. There is a smaller quiet pool near lobby bar where we hung out one day, less people but more condusive to reading a book. Exercise/gym - typical 2 treadmills, 2 bikes, 2 elipticals. Not huge so weights/machines were a bit limited but ok for a workout. Beach - there is nice private area for the hotel & loungers. Water was swimmable. Public beach in between hotel beach and water and popular gathering spot for locals. Our son got engaged there and got pictures around the hotel, pool, and beach. Locals were extremely friendly - offering congratulations, beers....... :). Outside of the vendors on the boardwalk pushing activities - the people are super friendly. Proximity - nice to be close to town if you want to hit some local bars, shopping, and renting a fishing trip. Overall, we had a great time and would go back.

If you want location.. go here! It’s right on the marina and it’s fun to watch all the activity and boats. Can be a little loud but that doesn’t bother us.. The hotel is showing its age, a little paint/spr...ucing up wouldn’t hurt. This was our 4th time to Breathless and will go back.

Franco our pool/beach waiter was very kind and helpful. Franco will take care of you everyday of your stay. Javier at the quiet pool - same. Restaurant food was ok, service at restaurants was very good. ... Lots of things to do in the area plus they have scheduled activities throughout the day. It’s a plus they have beach side loungers and a beach swimming area. Explore Breathless as an all inclusive adults only option.
