Well worth the price.

Charming and simple. Posada real may be a small hotel but is mighty in its hospitality. We felt welcomed from the start, rooms are clean, fresh linen, sparkling floors. The food is very tasty, there’s a go...od amount to choose from, all fresh and most of the meats are prepared to order right in front of you at the buffet. The staff is what makes this place special, so many wonderful servers, bartenders housekeeping, front desk staff. We met people from all over Canada, USA and Mexico and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Posada Real for making us feel at home, and for the best vacation.

Fantastic stay for a good price

I want to let you know how much I appreciated the fantastic service we received while at Posada Real. All the servers were so kind and lovely. I have to single out Danya at the front desk. She went out... of her way time and again to help us with my daughter's missing bag and navigate our transportation back to the airport after our flight delay. She was so kind and understanding. I can't say how much I appreciated everything she did for us. Secondly, I want to praise the cooks at the buffet. I have a severe capsicum allergy, and I was very nervous about eating in Mexico. They took such good care of me and helped me learn to ask what I need to avoid and what I can have. The staff made sure everyone on the line knew about my condition, and they walked me through what was safe and what wasn't. It relieved a lot of my stress just knowing that they were taking my concerns seriously. Thank you to all the staff for making this trip such a positive experience!

Enjoyed our stay

Tetters (Chilliwack, BC) on Mar 29, 2025

An older property but great location and had everything we needed. Restaurant staff, cleaning and maintenance staff all great! Our room was very comfortable with a lovely private patio looking over the poo...l area to the beach. We didn’t go all-inclusive but did eat several meals at the buffet restaurant. Food was decent, and varied day to day. The location adjacent to the (no-swim) beach, pool area, garden area is lovely. You can walk a long way in both directions on the sand. Nightly entertainment by local musicians or karaoke in the lounge/lobby area.

El Cheap Cabo

The hotel and beach area are nice but that is all. When you arrive at the hotel be prepared to listen to a one hour sales pitch for their new property. They don't take "not interested" very easily. The fo...od in the one small buffet area is terrible. It was cold and looked like it had been cooked for a couple of days. Trying to get coffee or water with your meal is a chore. When you check in they give you two bottles of water. You have to use these same two bottles for your whole stay (6days). There are big bottles in the halls. Imagine wanting a drink in the middle of the night and having to go down the halls in your pajamas. Seems pretty unsanitary. If you ask for a replacement bottle the cost is $6USD. The housekeeper took our two paper coffee cups and never replaced them all week. Only two bars; one opens at 11 am and the lobby bar doesn't open until 4pm; which is bad because most people would like a cocktail after a long travel day instead of a sales pitch.

What's for dinner?

tparry86 (Salt Lake City, Utah) on Mar 18, 2025

What's for dinner is what I wanted to know before I vacationed here and did all-inclusive. All meals are buffet style except poolside. Breakfast: eggs or omelets made to order, pancakes, french toast,... refried beans. One morning they had tacos as an option. Bacon anf sausage is available. Lots of fresh fruit, including papaya, honeydew, cantalope, watermelon, and fresh pineapple. With cottage cheese, yogurts, and hard boiled eggs available to get your protein in. Drinks were Mexican hot chocolate or Mexican coffee with 2 juice options that rotated daily. Breads: bagels, Mexican pasteries, and toast, and cereal with milk. Hot cereal: creamy oatmeal with toppings to add like coconut, granola, and dried fruiy. Lunch starts at 1300 for the restaurant or 1200 for poolside. If you are hungry go to the buffet. Poolside can take an hour. The buffet had cold cuts and sandwich fixings plus a hot dish with 2 meats or pasta. There is a salad bar with fixings, fresh fruit, and Mexican dessert cakes. One day they had fresh, grilled tuna! Poolside had hamburgers, nachos, tacos, hot dogs, chicken or club sandwich (no pizza). They do have ice cream which tastes like I get in the states. Dinner: Chicken with sweet and sour sauce over rice was my favorite. The meat cut off the long skewers (don't know the name) and put on tacos was so good! Fried fish was decent and I don't usually like fish. There is always refried beans, at every meal. Dinner has a variety of cooked vegetables, salads on the bar, fruit, bread, and Mexican cakes. Believe it or not, you can even eat coco puffs or fruit loops for dinner!
