Run the opposite direction

This place shouldn’t be described as a resort. It is more of a cheap motel. The staff is rude and not helpful at all. The rooms are old and the bathrooms; if possible, older. They gave us two towels and no face towels. One of the large towels was used as a floor mat. The food was terrible. What wasn’t eaten at dinner was served for breakfast. The croutons were the old hamburger buns. The drinks taste like rubbing alcohol and the soda was flat. We had two rooms. The bathroom sink in our room was clogged and the AC unit in our second room caused the room the flood. The waves in the ocean were always a category black, red, and white so we were never able to get in the water. The only reason the pool was nice was because it was painted blue. Advertised as all-inclusive is a joke. We paid for food outside the resort. I wouldn’t stay here if it was free. We had a 5 night stay and I was ready to go my day 2. If this was place in the US it would be condemned and the owner a slumlord. There should be yellow caution tape and an enter at your own risk sign

Completely disappointed with location, food and drinks

Travis and Bets... B (Orange County, California) on Jun 25, 2024

Location was ok, there is abandoned construction around. Resort is very small, often very few people in time we were there. Beach was nicest part. Staff was mostly friendly but limited on English (I’m limited on my Spanish). So it was very tough to communicate. Food options were extremely limited, 2 restaurants with limited hours. Food quality was poor at best. Everything was reminiscent of my elementary school cafeteria but slightly worse. Nothing was as expected, OJ wasn’t tasting like OJ, bacon wasn’t tasting like bacon. Drinks were all cheapest off brand you could find. They could not even make a margarita, they use squirt soda to mix most everything. I tried some name brand scotch whisky on ice, it didn’t taste right, either mixed with something else or something much cheaper was poured in that bottle, in my opinion. We are not picky people just looking to relax and have some decent food/drink. I was very nearly injured entering the pool, slipping on slick tile. Overall we left a week long trip after on 2 days, they charged us 4 days as a penalty. Safe to say we’ll never be back.
