The drinks were awful: watered down or little to no alcohol, stale mixers. The food was typical buffet: unseasoned and bland. Every now and then you could find something good to eat. My biggest complaint though is the number of Mexicans staying at the resort. Typically the resort guests are from North America (or other countries). This resort cost us over $5,200 for 2 rooms and I doubt the locals were paying the same rate as we were. I feel like all guests should pay the same rates or make the preferential rates known to everyone.

As I reflect on the outstanding week, I express heartfelt gratitude for the diligent efforts invested in making our Día de los Muertos celebration unforgettable. For a month, Susan and Leticia meticulously crafted exquisite flowers for the ofrenda. We had the pleasure of visiting them at the kids club, thanks to our little Miracle ??. The entertainment department hosted an engaging ceremony and show illuminating the tradition and honoring departed employees' memories. We are deeply grateful to have celebrated el día de Los Muertos in Mazatlán. #ElCidResorts #mazatlan #DiaDeLosMuertos #underdogmillionare #ElCid
