Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with my husband and 13 year old daughter. The staff was awesome and so was the food. We were able to find spots at the pool and beach each day we were there. This was our fir...st time at this resort and we will definitely be back!

7 nights at Jewel Grande. The staff was amazing. Every person was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in very easy and the front desk was polite Restaurants were very good. We enjoyed all the plac...es. Only negative is there are not many options. We at the steak house 3 nights, Asian 1 night and Italian 2 nights. Buffet was small and a bit underwhelming. Pelican was a nice place for lunch. Very good food. Coffee shops were great and always quick There are definitely a lot of steps at this place but easy to maneuver around. Alot of security around so we always felt safe The beach while beautiful was very small. If you enjoy walking the beach you will get bored very quick. They worked hard to clean the seaweed. Beautiful water every day. Drinks were always strong.. great job there. Excellent flavor on all the drinks. Great drink menu also. Accommodated virgin drinks for our daughter which made her happy. Beach seating was never an option. Plenty of open seats. We only used the pool once for 20 min. It was very nice and not much seating but it appeared the resort was not close to full capacity. Jerk Chicken was really good. Overall a great stay. While I would recommend this location we probably will look for another resort on a different part of the island.
