We had a wonderful vacation during our stay here. The staff were great. The buildings of this resort definitely need some attention. But over all it was very nice. The location is good. Just about 20 min from airport. We were a family of 11. Having a cabana is great for the beach
Average hotel, nothing spectacular

I had high expectations for this hotel due to the great reviews, unfortunately it was not met. Pros: The food is good, beach is clean and water clear. Room was massive and comfortable. I stayed in the updated Sentry building which was close to most things like restaurants and pool. Cons: Nightly entertainment was lacking, I was bored out of my mind at 9:30pm. There wasn't much to do. They have a club but no one was there because they didn't promote it enough. All food places except for the coffee shop closes at 5pm and reopens at 6pm. In my opinion, they need to have some overlapping hours. Some staff were friendly while others were just plain rude; God forbid you need something for your room, you won't get it until the next day. They also need more staff on the beach, it took a long time to get drinks but that's no fault of the worker, she was the only one taking orders. My BIGGEST grievance was the change to room service. One of the major reasons why we booked this hotel was the 24hr room service at no extra cost. Surprise surprise, they started charging $10 USD PER ORDER for room service beginning December 2024. I booked in March and they should have honored those reservations before they implemented this ridiculous fee. Very dishonest practice by this hotel. Although the location is great and close to the Airport, I would not return. There are far better hotels in the vicinity. Hopefully they can improve on these things, the hotel has potential but need the right people to execute.
