This experience was great!! Me and my hubby visited this location last year in July and hurricane Beryl hit and we were devastated. Our trip was ruined and we did not get to partake in the trip we paid for.... After leaving Sandals dissatisfied, a few months passed and Sandals reached out to all guest that were effected by the hurricane and did right by us and offered us compensation for a trip gone wrong. We loved South Coast location and we thought it deserved another try. So this year we went in April for seven days and we loved every minute of it. The resort is beautiful and very well kept. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. We booked our trip for next year while we were there. Please book the trip, it’s worth it!! Also a special thanks to a few wonderful resort employees that made our stay extra special, Chantel (Dutch Village bartender ) Everton (waitstaff) , Careca (waitstaff) Willis (main pool bartender) Ledecia (waitstaff) and last but not least the ENTERTAINMENT CREW is amazing!! Thank you so much Sandals for an AMAZING MEMORABLE vacay ??

We had a wonderful experience at Sandals Southcoast Jamaica. We were welcomed on arrival in true Sandals style, welcoming us “home” and they worked very hard to make our experience memorable and amazing. ... The Dive Shop crew were outstanding! And we noticed there were many returning divers who come back again and again to dive the beautiful Whitehouse Marine Sanctuary. Shamona and Kamala helped with all the arrangements and Shamona was especially helpful as she works the PADI cert courses. She even had all my paperwork for my next certification ready and signed by the Instructors for me the day before we left. Byron was our dive instructor and trained me on Invasive Lionfisk Tracking and Emergency Oxygen Provider courses. He trained my wife on the Advanced Open Water Diver certification and she can now dive deeper as a result. He was a very calm and knowledgeable instructor and was always encouraging us. Byron even came in on his day off to lead our dive as Divemaster to be with his students! Carlton (aka String Bean) runs the shop and has 30 years of dive experience with Sandals - he is a calm and steady diver and gave excellent safety briefings so we always knew what we were diving. Vernell (First Mate) was our hero as he helped my wife every dive walking to the stern of the dive boat for entry, was very attentive returning her gear during recovery. We highly recommend learning to dive at the Sandals 5 star PADI Dive Shops as the gear is included and the instructors are among the best in the Caribbean. In typical Sandals style the housekeeping, entertainment, Spa and shopping staff went above and beyond to make certain our experience was amazing. The gift shop staff of Natasha, Myesha and Noble made tie dye shirts for my wife when they learned she was hoping to make one. Bent in Red Lane Spa stayed late to accommodate our dive schedule and help my wife get her perfect hair treatment. Our room in the Italian village was beautiful and the Club Sandals Concierges were very accommodating and attentive. The entertainment staff of Jhavon, Kimosave, Shavia and Francoise were fantastic and talented! From all the trivia games at the main pool to the nightly events they were among the best we have seen at Sandals resorts. It was amazing how they remembered people’s names! The bar staff at the main pool of Scejay, Shelliann, Orane, Willis, Tyrese, Garcia, Shakeila and Akeisha were fast, efficient, engaging and fun! They remembered our names and what drinks we liked. We had great dining experiences at Sushi on the Sand, Giuseppe’s (Italian) and Bayside in the mornings. At Giuseppe’s our server Carica made some great recommendations and gave a greater variety on smaller plates so we could sample more. The Antipasta bar is not to be missed. The manager Frederico was very attentive as well and checked in on us. We loved the Taqueria and visited each day for lunch after diving. It seemed no matter how many guests were there the food came up exactly as ordered ten minutes later. Cafe au Paris is open early and late and the staff was pleasant and helpful with delicious drinks and pastries. Their crepes are excellent! We experienced a little slow service at Eleanor’s, where they seemed to be understaffed and it took a long time to take and deliver our orders. Note there is a dress code for men of pants and closed toe shoes at Eleanor’s. We also had very slow service at Bayside for dinner, where service may have been affected by a high number of weddings that day. The steaks were cooked perfectly at Bayside but were cold when they arrived. Those two experiences aside, we really enjoyed our meals everywhere we went and found the Sushi on the Sand to be excellent! Overall our experience was excellent and definitely worthy of five stars as we have seen at other Sandals and Beaches resorts. It’s also worth noting that this location is somewhat secluded, and while there is a 1.5 hour bus ride to get there, the scenery and beauty of the area make it very special. We also really appreciated that we saw no beach vendors on the property, only licensed and approved souvenirs shops. This contributed to the relaxing vacation. Outstanding job by the whole Sandals Southcoast team making our stay memorable and helping us enjoy our stay!

First time visitor but best experienced ever. Resort was beautiful and peaceful. Customer service was exceptional. Best part was the butler service by Mr. Clive. Clive was very attentive to details while ...learning our likes in a short period of time. This is a reason why I will return!

Sandals South Coast is beautiful. Great all round. It is on a fantastic beach. The staff are excellent. Love the butler service. Food is excellent. The rooms are kept spotless. There is a good mix o...f people. Young and old. It is a 2 hour drive from the airport but well worth the trip.

Had so much fun in the morning aqua fitness class!! We started with a nice stretch and then got into a very diverse workout! Followed by a nice cool down! Very fun and a great start to the day! Kevon was ...awesome! Looking forward to move activities !
