Great family experience

Ali A (Washington DC, District of Columbia) on May 10, 2024

My stay at Springhill Suits got off to an interesting start. A power outage left the hotel and the vicinity around it without electricity, so when I arrived the place was pitch black. My first instinct would have been to request to be transferred to another Marriott property, but because we were jetlagged we decided to stay. Nina, the hotel manager, was extremely polite and professional. She got us checked in and gave us lanterns and extra water. The next day municipal services restored power and the rest of our stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The rooms are large and spacious. The one we stayed in had the trundle bed, where the softa converts into a daybed and another mattress slides out from under the sofa. This set up allowed for our two small children to sleep comfortably, one on top of the sofa and another on the slide-out mattress. The room was also equipped with a microwave and a fridge. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the tram service that operates between the Disney parking facilities and Disneyland Resort. Hotel breakfast is served close to the lobby. The options are basic but very good. My kids loved spreading nutella on their waffles!

Just ok.

Room was clean but basic. Walls are paper thin. You can hear conversations and baby crying late into the night. Beds uncomfortable. Breakfast had a good variety but just average. One morning hot foods were cold. 15 minute walk to Disney. Not bad but after long day in the parks it was tough.

Not the best location

AllisonK (Phoenix, AZ) on Apr 10, 2024

The good: Kind staff, decent room, basic breakfast. The bad: LOCATION! The term "maingate" is quite deceptive. You are a good 20ish minute walk from the entrance to the parks. In the morning this is not a problem, but at night I did not feel safe walking back alone with my daughter. You are near a residential area and it feels very "off the beaten path". I have stayed at many hotels on the other side of the parks and walked down Harbor late at night and there are always lots of other families and people. Not the case here. If you care about a walkable location look elsewhere. If not, this is a decent choice.

Great experience. Great location

Really enjoyed our stay at the Springhill Suites. Short walk to Disneyland. CVS pharmacy downstairs for any supplies/snacks etc you might need. Check in staff were very accommodating. Rooms were large and clean. We plan to stay here again

Grateful

An extremely happy stay! My husband, myself, and all three of our girls really enjoyed the accommodations that this SpringHill suite has to offer. Beautifully clean and staged rooms, with a great breakfast that we all enjoyed. But what really took our stay to the next level was Randy assisting us at the front desk. Nothing I needed was very urgent or high priority, but Randy treated us with such high priority and kindness. As a customer I have felt extremely valued and it's really made a lastly impact. A sincere Thank you.
