Our Usual Abode
joen242 (Johnstone, United Kingdom) on Mar 26, 2025
Arrival: We had a bit of a hiccup upon arrival, as the Rosen Inn did not initially have a record of our booking, even though we had made and paid for it months earlier through British Airways. Fortunately,... after a brief wait and a few phone calls, the issue was resolved, and our reservation was found. It seems there was a glitch in the system that prevented our booking from being sent properly. We requested a ground-floor room facing the car park, and they were able to accommodate us. Room: The room was what we expected for a Rosen Inn — clean, tidy, and equipped with the usual amenities like a microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and a decent-sized flat-screen TV. The only downside was that the room had a slightly musty smell, but we travel with a gel air freshener, so that helped eliminate the issue. Otherwise, the room was comfortable for our stay. Pools and Amenities: We enjoyed daily swims in the smaller of the two pools, which was peaceful and quiet, with few children around. The other guests were respectful, making for a relaxing atmosphere. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning our room each day. They did arrive early one morning when we were still in bed, but they kindly returned later to refresh the room, which we appreciated. Location: We love the location of the Rosen Inn on 7600 I-Drive, as it’s close to all the local amenities we frequent. Since we don’t drive in the U.S., we rely on the trolley bus, Lynx bus, and taxis for transportation. We’ve also stayed at the Rosen Inn on 9000 I-Drive, but this location suits us better. Check-out and Final Thoughts: Check-out was smooth, and the hotel was happy to store our luggage until our airport transfer arrived. This gave us extra time to grab a bite to eat and pick up last-minute items for our return journey. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable base on I-Drive with decent facilities, including a good-sized pool to relax at after a busy day in Orlando, I highly recommend the Rosen Inn. We’ll definitely be booking here again for our next trip to Orlando.
Great family hotel with a few pools

Overall the staff was good although the actual Hotel was dated but that's okay. The bathtub could use updating but the pool was fantastic! The buffet seemed a little underwhelming for the price but overall... the staff was helpful. The buses were always on time and the housekeeping was excellent
Very Average Motel (Not Hotel)
dazzywazzywoowoo (Halifax, United Kingdom) on Mar 15, 2025
Average to be honest. Nothing would want you to come back apart from the price if you time it right as I'm led to believe the price goes up presumably to accommodate the USA Holidays which you need to look... out for Dated place for sure. Imagine 1980's USA WiFi absolutely appalling in the rooms and everywhere else. We are in 2025! Cleaning average on your rooms. Left a polite note for the cleaner to remove the broken biscuits and hair band plus other things under the side of the bed nearest the bathroom left by the previous guest. 10 days later still there. There is a bar which is hardly open. What's the point? Maybe come here at the wrong time of year and we have been to the other one further down International Drive which again was ok for the price but there was bugs all over the bathroom floor everyday maybe because we were on the ground floor but even so don't expect a hotel just a room if you come here where on most occasions people and staff are rumbling past with suitcases and trolleys which sound like thunder as it's the main corridor/balcony to all other rooms. Defy a Motel but Defy not a Hotel. WiFi is appalling which has taken me ages to type this because it keeps going off. Repeat comment but me and my wife tried to watch a movie on my iPad as we fancied a lazy evening in. So annoying as it kept going off. 2025 it is! Cheap and Cheerful I would say but don't be disappointed if you thought it was a hotel which it clearly isn't. We have been twice to these Motels simply based on price but will probably not come again as we would prefer to spend a little bit more for Hotel Standard Facilities.

Grey location on I Drive, Rooms were dated but comfortable and were cleaned every day. No resort fees here. It had everything we needed, pool view. Used pool a few times, always beds and free pool towels t...o use. We had breakfast at hotel every day and was great value, the staff were great and very friendly and helpful. Used the bar once thinking it was happy hour but not good value, cheaper to go to Millers or Buffalo wings, lots of food places outside of hotel. You can catch I trolley outside hotel to take you to outlets or Sea World. Will definitely stay here again.
