Cold “hot tub” and can’t be fixed
AliciaDawn80 on May 31, 2025
DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO RELAX IN A HOT TUB AFTER A LONG DAY. Hot tub is cold and no one can do anything about it. Will not return. Talked to 5 different people and no one can remedy this issue. Oth...er people also in the hot tub were complaining and said they have been here for several days and not one time has the hot tub been warm. This is very disappointing.
Very Nice budget hotel for Universal

Stayed here in May while attending the Pass holder Preview days at Epic. The rooms here are pretty basic, but comfortable. I was in a double-full setup. Pretty typical room with a large desk/counter area, ...large TV, nice lighting, and decent views. The toilet & shower are separate from the sink, so it allows some privacy while others are getting ready. One minus is the lack of bathroom counter space. Although, they go for aesthetics, this limits the use of the sink for multiple people. Wasn’t bad for 3 of us though. The lobby was very spacious and airily. I really liked this. There was a store, bar, coffee shop, and counter service restaurant. I thought the food was very good and the prices reasonable. Almost forgot about late night pizza delivery. Fairly basic pizza, but was a lifesaver as it was the only thing availed after 10:00pm. The pool area was also very large and had an outdoor bar and counter service restaurant. In the evening, they had a movie at the pool which was quite disappointing as it was shown on what looked like a bedsheet strung up by two poles and it started while it was still light out. A big plus about this hotel is that you have a choice of walking or taking a dedicated bus to the park. It was nice to have a choice and the bus back after a long day is the way to go. My only real complaint about the hotel is that there was no sit-down restraint service. I understand this is one of the lower tier hotels, but it really would have added a bit of class.
Great hotel close to Epic Universe

Beautiful space themed, hotel that is within walking distance of Epic Universe. Huge pool and hot tube and a splash pads for the little ones. The pool is so large they have an ample amount of chaise loun...ge seating. There is a restaurant and pool poolside as well. The lobby has a bar, along with a place that holds your luggage in case you arrive before check in time or want to hit the parks up before leaving that night. The restaurant onsite has something for everyone. There is a coffee, ice cream and snack shop if you want some grab and go. The rooms are very nice. 2 queen beds, a really nice view of either the Epic Universe or the pool. The sick is separate from the toilet and shower. The rooms are clean and being that the hotel is only a few months old, has that new hotel feel. The tv can be controlled with your cell phone. The hotel contacts you for early check-in. a day or two prior to your arrival. The price of the hotel is very reasonable. The resort offers bus transportation to all of Universal's theme park areas. If you are driving, expect to pay $30 per night. For hotel guests of any of Universal's hotels, you are given early morning park access. The hotel staff is very pleasant and are accommodating if you need anything. Also, there is a $100 hold on your credit card in case you need room service or want to charge to your room. Fantastic stay and we are looking forward to staying on property again.
Cannot be beat for an EPIC trip!

This hotel is soooo perfect for Epic. We walked from the hotel to Epic every morning. It was about a 15 min walk. It is pretty far from the main parks but the buses come very frequently. Never had to wait... more than 5 minutes for one. The hotel is still very new so we will see how they keep up with it, but I absolutely fell in love with it. It is sooo clean and beautiful. The hotel had a homier vibe than others as it is on the smaller side when compared to a hotel like Cabana Bay for instance. The room was the so clean it was impressive. I always wipe down everything when I stay at hotels but this room was pretty spotless. We stayed in an upper room away from the park view (we were given a pool view). I recommend that because it was a super quiet stay. We slept so well. The bed was great and the room stayed cold throughout the night. The staff was excellent! Super friendly and welcoming. It was very genuine. We grabbed a coffee in the hotel on the first Epic day and it went quickly even though the line was long. Did not get any food from the market side so cannot account for the wait on that. Oh and the bar!!! The bartenders and drinks were amazing. The drinks were unique and delicious. We only stayed for 2 nights but I did not find a con during this stay. Would 10/10 recommend if Epic is on your itinerary even if it’s just 1 day.
Great value, aesthetically pleasing and walkable to Epic Universe.

Loved this hotel. Universal really knocked it out of the park, providing an affordable hotel within walking distance to Epic Universe. Everything is new and clean. Loved the minimalistic space theming. Th...e rooms felt spacious enough. Did not run into any previous issues I had seen, regarding lights turning on in the middle of the night. The walking path to Epic Universe is a major perk. My only complaint would be that it is not in the same vein as the beautiful garden walks over at the original campus, but hopefully with time, this changes. I also didn’t love the pillows. Regardless - will most definitely be back again!
