Let me start by saying the staff at this resort are wonderful, we did not encounter any unhelpful staff. We have gripes with the actual resort. We feel catfished, all the 5 star reviews must be dated. ...To start the hotel was undergoing a major renovation, yet there was no notice of this on their website. We were only notified by our airline’s vacation package a few days prior to our trip…leaving no time to make a change to our travel plans. Some of the restaurants were closed while we were there, leaving very few dining options. Food was average. We spoke to other families and they encountered the same issue with no hot water for showers, you need to call maintenance to come to your suite and turn it on for you. The furnishings in the room are getting dated, the faucet handle fell apart in our bathroom. Like another review, I was bitten by so many mosquitoes/bugs while there. I have never been bitten on any other all inclusive in Mexico. They say the kids club is suitable for ages up to 12…more like age 6 max. Do not expect to utilize the kids club if you have older children. Needless to say, we will not be returning.

5 Stars!!!! We had an amazing family vacation at this resort!! So very relaxing to lounge at the beach or by the pools! The property is kept immaculately clean with the most beautiful plants and greenery...! All the staff was very friendly, helpful and inviting to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The units are very spacious, and beautifully decorated! Loved having our own large balcony with sliding glass doors from the bedrooms. Loved the daily maid service. What a friendly, sweet woman! So very helpful, to straighten up our room and give us fresh towels. She always had a big smile! The waiters and waitresses were also so very friendly and helpful! The food was absolutely delicious! Our complements to all the chefs! I would like to make a suggestion, though. Since we did have 1 vegan and 3 vegetarians in our group, I would like to see more plant based food options being offered on the menus. Our favorite night at dinner was the fun fiesta on Tuesday night!! The huge selection of different foods was incredible and delicious!! The music and singers made the night! The 55 minute, full body massages at the spa were amazing!!! I would like to greatly thank everyone at the resort for creating such wonderful family memories for us that will last a lifetime!!! Hope to visit again sometime!!
