Dreams dominicus is an excellent resort, has plenty of sun loungers with 3 pools (4 if preferred) & good variety of restaurants. Staff are all hard working & will help with any needs.

We got married in the Dominican Republic ???? so it was the only place we wanted to celebrate ?? our 25th anniversary. This resort didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful resort and the beach is absolutely stunning. We booked a preferred club suite and the room was more than big enough for our needs. Now on to some special people. Our butler Luis was an absolute superstar. He checked in on us everyday, chatted to us around the resort. His enthusiasm for his job is infectious. He made us laugh all the time and we were really sad to say goodbye. He organised a romantic dinner on the pier for our 25th anniversary and decorated our room and left some lovely treats. It made us feel really special and valued. He also organised a beach Bali bed and came down to make sure everything was perfect and left us in the very capable hands of Nelson our beach concierge. Luis really felt like an extended member of our family and is a credit to the resort. We miss him already. Nelson at the beach took great care of us for our Bali experience, keeping the Heineken and drinks flowing through the day. A really great experience. All of the staff were so friendly at this report but some real standouts for us were Ada at the pool bars, who is absolutely lovely and took the time to get to know us (and our drinks ??). Julia at the preferred beach bar also was so friendly and we were hardly ever without a refreshing drink for long without having to leave our sun beds. Richard the singing waiter also made us smile. And not to forget Cricelle (I’m not sure I have the spelling correct) who welcomed us at the preferred beach club for breakfast and lunch. She really was a sweet, beautiful, intelligent young lady who always made us very welcome and her smile and energy were infectious. I miss my little mariposa and her angelic singing voice. Keep being amazing and go for your dreams. We really couldn’t find anything to complain about, but then again we are very humble grateful people who see the beauty in every situation. Even during our dinner on the pier we were faced with lashing rain and thunder/lightening. We just laughed and had a great time anyway. And omg that tomahawk steak was huge!! We tried all the restaurants and always found something we loved. A gem of a place at night to go is to the preferred beach club. It’s not busy and feels much more intimate. And the food/service there are top notch. So all in all a very special trip. We were totally chilled and spent hours in that beautiful ocean. We will definitely be back!!
