This is our 3rd time visiting the Impressive Premium. Each time gets better with the resort continuously making improvements. The food was great with lots of selections for everyone and al a cart restauran...ts were no problem getting a reservation every day! The best place for breakfast was at Villa Magna, overlooking the ocean and Karen the hostess was such a lovely lady, full of smiles all day long. We will miss her. Also Wilson our server was also so wonderful. Our butler Yordie was amazing. He was such a nice guy, so helpful and made our experience so great. He was the best butler we have had . Miss you Yordie :) Pools and grounds are stunning and the beach was breathtaking! Can’t wait to come back, till next time impressive ??

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely come back! Everything was clean, the beach was fantastic, and as Premium guests, we had access to an exclusive area with a personal butler – a rea...l highlight of our stay. A special thank you to the lovely entertainer Gasolina. She truly made my stay even more enjoyable. Every day, she informed me about the different activities, took care of everything, and was always helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel, especially the Premium option – it’s definitely worth it! The rooms are better, you get extra cocktails, and access to a special beach area. The hotel also offers a trip to Saona Island, which was one of the absolute highlights of our vacation.

I have a lot to tell about my 8 night stay at the Impressive premium Punta Cana. Starting with the positives. Pros: * Location is great, easy to go from the airport and beach is beautiful and clean. * Th...e check in was smooth due to the hard work and great service from Santa, she went above and beyond to give us the best room and was very welcoming, polite and professional. (Note: I was approached by other staff member before by check in who was not even close in terms of service) * The room was spacious, with a great view and impeccable cleaning. I didn't get the name of the people cleaning the rooms but they all deserve a good shout out. Bed was great and everything else in the room was perfect. * Restaurants: * Vila Magna at Dinner had great food an exception service provided by Pedro. * In the Japanese restaurant, Gabriel prepared the meal for us and wow, such a great experience, he was funny and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the rest of the staff. * Every other restaurant is not worth mentioning in the positive sections. * Bars: * This is actually the highlight of our trip, Ambiorix on the premium pool bar provided the greatest service received, Ana and Natallis as well. They were funny, kind, helped with our drinks, told us about Dominican culture and overall was just the best service in the entire hotel. * Rina at the beach bar is also worth mentioning as a great service. Super funny, helpful and kind. * Buttler: Grace was our butler and provided great service, she helped with reservation and all of our inquires, he was very polite, professional and checked on us constantly. We didn't request many things but everything was attended to promptly by her. Cons (The bad, and there was a lot): * Service: * This is by far the worst part of this hotel, with the exception of the ones mentioned above, every one else in the hotel seemed rude and straight out not polite. * Karla at the store in the lobby didn't even look up to talk to me while I was buying things there, when I asked for something she seemed angry and frustrated and without saying a word put in the counter and gave me the card. I don't know, the minimal of a good service is at least a hello. Didn't even gave that. * Japanese restaurant: Despite the good experience with Gabriel, everything else was disastrous. During the entire dinner, no drinks were offered or brought to the table. When we asked for it, the waiter seemed super offended and did not bring anything. When we asked again for a Gin and Tonic he said there was no more of that drink, which prompted one of us to stand up and go to the bar and voila, came back with a G&T. The waiter brought the other drinks, without ice and with dirt glasses. When leaving, he stopped us to ask for a tip. Saying "You are rich I am not". * On Alberjie, the food was simply horrible. Really really bad. Nothing was barely edible. Our reservation, mind you arranged by the butler, was a little late in the evening and before the main dish came they stopped serving any drinks and started to WASH THE FLOOR while we were there. Desert was also bad. * Sewage problem: On our 4 day, sewage started to spill over in front of the balcony of one of our group rooms, with a really bad smell. I contacted Grace who sent someone to check and got it fixed the next day, but for me spilling sewage in your balcony is a no-go. Summary: * This is a great hotel with a few gems working on it, but they are hard to find. Quality of food and specially service is the big downside. I wouldn't come back or recommend it.

First some context: We are a Canadian couple in the mid forties with two early teen girls. We purchased this hotel as vacation package with Air Canada vacations. We also speak Spanish. Overall our stay at ...the Impressive Premium was excellent. The grounds are well maintained and have really nice tree coverage. We stayed in building 23 in the third floor and our room had great AC and an awesome view of the premium pool. Good things we found about the premium package: 1- The express check in/out. This appears to be a very popular hotel and at times the lineups for check in/out for the regular non-premium visitors are very long. 2- The dedicated eating spaces for premium visitors. If you tend to eat at "rush hour" the lineups to enter the main buffet for regular visitors can get long. Premium visitors have both a different entry line and dedicated sitting space in the buffet area. There is also a premium-only separate buffet a lot less busy although with limited food choices. 3- The premium pool with swim in bar. Again less busy that the other pools' areas. In terms of beach spaces there is no real difference between premium and regular. Plenty of beach space and chairs for both groups. Our butler Jauris was great. Helped us with reservations to the a la carte restaurants and took good care of us overall. We liked the Mediterranean, Italian and Mexican restaurants the best. We didn't like the Grill one much functioning as a-la-carte and did not try the Japanese. Being able to speak Spanish certainly helped to make our experience better as one can connect with the workers differently. Some things that can be improved: 1- The pools are not fully tiled and can really use a refreshing of the cement floors and new paint. Especially the premium one which has a cordoned section around the crack in the floor by the shallow end that just doesn't look good. 2- There has to be a better way to communicate to the guests the extra tour/packages options available. Maybe scheduled orientation sessions in the theater or similar. The last thing one wants to do after a day of traveling, especially with kids, to get to a destination is to sit and chat with someone from the marketing team trying to sell you extra stuff. Overall we enjoyed ourselves in this hotel very much but we know this was 100% because the locals work very hard to serve us visitors. My family, we also did our best to appreciate you to the best we could. Thank you.

The moment I arrived at Impressive Premium I met Gasolina, Liliana and ambiorix at the bar. They are truly amazing and offer great service. Always smiling always pleasant. Will definitely be coming back!! ...They made our stay memorable. This is a truly amazing resort food and services are great!!!
