The common areas of the resort is beautiful and updated. We were staying in building 8 and the rooms needed updating and did not look like any of the pictures on their website. During my booking I updated ...to a tropical view room. Don’t bother, probably worse than a regular room. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the room so I didn’t really care. There was a bad odor ( small of a farm) near my building as well. Lots of raccoon looking like critters running around near the buildings with the rooms. The pool was amazing and the swim up bar was really nice. No top shelf liquor. Drinks were weak but probably a good thing since there were a ton of highschool spring breakers. Pool chairs were all taken by 7:15am. Cabana rental was reasonable $65 for a sheer top and $125 for a hut type. They had some really good spa specials. $118 for a 50 min deep tissue massage or $149 for an 80 min deep tissue massage. I opted for the 80 min. The massage was good but I’ve had better massages at other resorts. Food was really good over all. Restaurants had a really long wait most days of 2+ hours. They don’t take reservations unless you buy a very expensive bottle of cheap wine. Food was really good if you waited and got in. We ate at the taco truck one night since we couldn’t get into a restaurant and that was also really good. Would I go back? Maybe
