The best customer service! Kind, respectful, and dedicated staff in every department. In a time when the art of customer service is nearly dead, the Hyatt comes through with some good, old-fashioned, "Is there anything else we can get you" kind of service. Refreshing.

We were very pleased with our stay at the Manchester grand Hyatt. Our room had excellent views of the harbour, and was extremely comfortable. There are good dining facilities, and a small shop that sells sandwiches and snacks. When we arrived there was a slight problem with the smoke detector. This was not only remedied immediately, but we found a note of apology – which was not at all necessary – together with a complementary small box of chocolates.

I stayed at the Grand Hyatt in October of 2024 while working at the Convention Center. Easy check in, clean and comfortable room, great view of the bay and downtown. I had a few occasions to utilize the room service, and they’ve done away with the formality, the rolling table, and awkwardness of having the server in your room. Now they just deliver the bag and you sign, nice and easy…and the food was great. Close to Seaport Village, the Embarcadero along the bay, the Gaslamp District and the rest of downtown. Would stay again if back in San Diego.

I had a great view on the 26th floor. I was not able to check-in until 4pm and asked staff if i could do early check-in they upgraded my room and was able to do early check-in. Staff was very pleasant and not rude at all. I recommend staying here, especially if you want a good view of San Diego!!

I was treated to the penthouse, which met my relaxation needs perfectly. The staff was always kind, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make my stay special. The stay exceeded my expectation! I spent time with friends, dined, and rested. An excellent experience
