Active Advisories
Grand Case Beach Resort will be completely remodeling "The Rock" (near the hotel swimming pool) along with the restaurant and bar area. While the downstairs restaurant dining area will remain unchanged, the Bar and Kitchen will be reconstructed with full-access elevators leading to the upstairs deck. Additionally, the space surrounding the pool will be enhanced with a redesigned Bar and Catering area to accommodate larger groups.
The construction period will take place from July 21 to December 18, 2024.
Due to the project's scale, there will be heavy machinery and noise at various levels during this time. A timetable has been divided into three periods based on the extent of disturbance to the hotel's environment. More details will be provided as they finalize the schedule for each.
Please be aware that other aspects of the hotel, including the rooms, will not be undergoing any construction, though they will be affected by the noise.

Our first visit to GCBC… but not our last…
DebMc63 (Edmonton, Canada) on Dec 28, 2024
This was our very first visit to GCBC…. but not our last. My husband and I celebrated our 40 th anniversary by spending 16 glorious nights at the GCBC. We began our stay in a garden view room. The location was green, serene and peaceful. The last 10 nights of our stay in an ocean front loft was absolutely stunning. Being right by the clear and tantalizing ocean made our vacation extra special. Witnessing the nightly sunsets from our balcony was quite enchanting. The apartment style rooms were clean, comfortable , updated and outfitted for preparing meals on a daily basis. Most impressive was how the water was drinkable. It’s amazing how reverse osmosis was used to provide this essential resource. Daily maid service was so much appreciated. We were always greeted with a smile and excellent service was completed. Although construction continued throughout our stay, it did not take away from our entire experience, in fact, what we observed was quite extraordinary. GCBC personnel worked hard and as a cohesive family. Professional and highly skilled workers worked tirelessly at their trades. We felt privileged to witness the completion of the Sunset Cafe restaurant renovations, as well as the opening of the bar and gathering area. It was delightful to attend the Tuesday evening meet and greet in this beautiful setting. Delicious complimentary snacks and cocktails were much appreciated and enjoyed. GCBC provides services and goods which include: MWF shuttle to the Super U grocery store, evening shuttles to phenomenal restaurants, laundry facility, water and ice station, beach club equipment ( floaties, snorkel gear, kayaks, paddle boards, sand toys, etc. ) beautifully renovated swimming pool in a most beautiful location with views, exercise classes, massage services and most importantly, a very professional and friendly front desk/concierge staff to assist you with your needs. Now…. for the ocean…. calm and clear azure waters, crisp and refreshing in temperature, white sandy beach and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. Children can easily enjoy the sand and water depth. Many beautiful boats, yachts dotted the waters in front of GCBC. Delightful to experience! The Grand Case community with phenomenal local restaurants and shops was wonderful to experience. We ate some of the best French Cuisine; Maison de Chocolate, Bistro Caribe were our favourites. Nothing better than a short morning walk down the hill to M de C for a cappuccino and pain de chocolate! Freshly baked blueberry muffins, meat pies and quiche were also out of this world! B C served the most exquisite lobster thermidor and Creme Brûlée. The cocktails were mindfully prepared and the results were phenomenally delicious. This was our first time experiencing GCBC and Grand Case St. Martin, but not our last. We are planning on treating our family by vacationing here in March 2026. Our 2 adult children and their significant others, as well as our two grandsons will create magical memories at GCBC.
Best Spot on Grand Case Bay

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at GCBC. It was our first time on St Martin and GCBC was the perfect spot for a relaxing week in paradise. We stayed at two properties during our trip to St Martin and felt GCBC offered the best value. You have not one but two stunning beaches that are very private and tucked into apart of the bay that has very calm water. There’s plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas to take in the breathtaking view from multiple vantage points. It’s an easy 5 minute walk to town which is great given the surplus of incredible dinning options in Grand Case. We found reception to be helpful especially when we couldn’t get the stove in our room to work. A few downsides to keep in mind before booking (not dealbreakers but worth considering) 1. The pool isn’t heated and there’s no hot tub 2. The rooms are pretty barebones. Bed was very stiff and pillows weren’t plush. Definitely not a luxurious experience but you’re not paying luxury prices! Two things to keep in mind when bo
