Beaches Turks & Caicos is a multi-faceted fantasy world, where pastel pink bungalows are nestled in tropical gardens resplendent with graceful palms. This stay was a bit disappointing especially after the cost. I was looking forward to it because we loved staying at the Beaches in Ocho Rios. This place was probably just not the right fit for me and my... family. My teenage son did not enjoy the waterpark at all. It was aimed more for little kids. The beach and the spa were the highlights of the trip. Beautiful beach and amazing spa services. The food was not terrible but average. The wait staff at the bar was the worst. We would sit at the swim up bar up to 45 minutes just to get a drink. And when requesting a mixed drink (old fashion or negroni), they were not even close to that. I understand there isn't top shelf liquor there but those weren't even close. The rooms need some updating. The other con is that all the chairs at the pool and beach are taken. We even hit the beach at 7:30a and found 1 chair. The resort needs to do better about how they handle this. I asked the resort in the virtual assistant app and was told it's all first come first serve. We won't be back.
8th Visit And Can’t Wait To Go Back

Last week we visited BTC for the eighth time. My husband and I traveled with two adult children and their 1.5 year old, and a 20, 18 and 15 year old. Obviously, we love this resort and feel it’s suitable f...or all ages, but I do understand travelers’s concerns when seeing negative comments. It IS an expensive resort but I do believe that if you can afford it, you need to try it once and experience it for yourself - it might not be the resort for everyone, but it might be the right resort for YOU. If you read enough comments and reviews, you can be prepared with what to expect and with tips/advice from other travelers. If you can afford it, book a room with a butler! They can assist with some of the resort issues (finding pool chairs, waits at restaurants - which, by the way, happens at other resorts too) and they are wonderful, kind people. It is an expensive resort, but there are SOOO many things to do right on property. If you’re fortunate enough to visit BTC, my biggest piece of advice, TRY ALL THE THINGS! Try the pool at each Village at least once. Go to the waterpark (adults do the slides too). Try as many restaurants as you can (definitely don’t miss Kimonos), and order two meals for yourself!! Parents, if you can get away one night, try at least one of the 12+ restaurants. Go snorkeling and try as many of the included water activities as you can. Play putt-putt. Go to the Beach Party on Thursday night and the Parade on Friday evening. Go to the evening shows at least once (Family Feud/Reggae night is our favorite). Make friends at the swim up bar. Check out the Kids Club once. Participate in the daily games/activities. Try the cocktail of the day. Let your kids get a late night (second) dinner at Bobby D’s and get frozen yogurt every day after the pool. Take pictures, laugh, create memories and don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s vacation - ENJOY IT! And no better place to do it than at this beautiful paradise! *Shout out to our BTC family - Simone at the Italian circle bar, Andrew at the Caribbean pool bar, Preki at the Italian swim up bar and Richard, our amazing butler (for 7 of our 8 trips).
