We just returned home from this resort and we had a great time here. I travelled with my wife and nine year old son and I must say that all the staff here are great with kids. They remembered my son’s name... and greeted him at the buffet restaurant. The ladies at the outdoor seating area of the buffet were so nice to him and made us feel welcome. Adrian was also great at the buffet. He taught my son the secret handshake and was quick with anything we needed. Thank you Adrian. Yerli at the lobby bar was also great and she makes the best cappuccino I had while at the resort. We were in building five on the main floor which was great for us. The location was close to the main pool and lobby. Our room maid was excellent and always left blanket art in our room after cleaning. I can’t remember her name but I wanted to mention that she was great. The two beaches are nice but we spent our beach time at the small beach. The beach attendants were great and were quick to help find a shaded spot to relax. I want to mention that Roberto was awesome and so nice to my family. Johnny also deserves mention because he was great as well. The beach restaurant was good and we had lunch there a couple times. The main pool snack bar was good, we stopped here regularly for hotdogs and fries which my son enjoyed. The staff at the swim up bar where nice to my son and filled his cup with Tucola with a smile. I want to recognize the gardeners and window cleaners for their hard work keeping this resort looking beautiful. If you are planning to come here with gifts for the people I would ask you to consider these guys. They don’t get the regular tips that wait staff and bartenders get but they do a very important job. We brought colouring books, tooth paste and brushes and other toiletries and clothing that our son had outgrown. We really loved spending time at the infinity pool as there was constant drink service and the view there can’t be beat. Our favourite a la carte was the Italian. Very good tomato cream soup and chicken parmesan. Our son enjoyed the pizza here and the wait staff was friendly. If I was to give some negative criticism it would be that the bar staff at the main pool do a lot of visiting amongst themselves. More than a few occasions I was left standing there waiting for a drink while they chatted and I was a regular tipper. The resort seemed to be about 50-60% capacity while we were there so long lines was never an issue. In closing I want to ask that if you are coming to Varadero to have realistic expectations because Cuba is not like other Caribbean destinations that you would expect to pay 30% more to visit. There may be some shortages or other limited facilities, although this resort didn’t have any.

The beach is amazing, always beautiful. Rafael at the big beach and John at the small beach help you to find a chair with a smile! The food was actually great! Hot dogs, fries and hamburgers at the snack b...ar and pasta at the buffet every day if you're a fussier eater. We came for a week with another couple and had the best time. It was their second time and would hands down return. The workers at this resort are what made our trip extra special. From the chamber maids, our room was always perfect and a lovely surprise daily on our bed. The wait staff at the bars and buffet and a-la-carts are superior, especially my bird shoo-er, Annie. The ground keepers who keep it looking spectacular, to the entertainment staff who put so much time and effort into putting on a great show. A special shout out to Julio who is the most amazing promoter for the evening shows, his costumes never disappoint. He has a big heart and the warmest smile. The bartenders, who keep you refreshed with continuing drinks and yummy coffee. Roger made our trip extra special, very sweet man who works hard for him and his wife. I can't say enough about the people here. They're what make your trip extra amazing ????
