Great Fairmont Feel

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We chose the Gold floor which is so worth it! The lounge is calm and clean with great snacks and breakfast. And above all, Aarsh was such a wonderful staff member.... He was helpful, friendly and even found us a cord so we could use our iPhone in our rental car for our cross country trip. Thank you! The rooms are on the older side, as is the building. But they are clean, smell good and we had spectacular sunny sky views. And comfy beds!

It’s run down. The smoke detector was hanging from the wall by its wires. The temperature control didn’t work and the room was unbearably hot. Maintenance brought a fan and the next morning I requested a d...ifferent room. I used the gym once. It was too hot. There was no fan and nothing to wipe down the machines after use. The staff were very friendly. Drinks in The Lounge were good. The Velvet Glove restaurant was closed. Overall, this Fairmont is not a nice hotel like Fairmont in other cities. I was told renovations are imminent
