The Regina International Airport was thrilled to both send off and receive WestJet’s first non-stop flights to and from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport on this past Sunday, April 28th.
“WestJet is pleased to connect Regina and Minneapolis with new year-round daily service, unlocking key tourism and economic development opportunities for the City of Regina and the surrounding area,” said Andrew Gibbons, Vice President, External Affairs at WestJet. “In line with the WestJet Group strategy which focuses on winning in the West, we are proud to be the only carrier offering daily transborder connectivity from Regina International Airport this summer.”
The new WestJet service now runs to and from YQR and MSP 7 days a week, 365 days a year, offering more than 70 connections through WestJet’s codeshare partnership with Delta.
