*The extension registration will record your request to have eligible vouchers that are scheduled to expire on December 31, 2021, extended for a final six months to June 30, 2022 (the “Extension”). To be eligible for the Extension, the voucher owner (the “Member”) must sign into their account and register on this landing page by December 28, 2021. Each Member must register individually to request the Extension of their voucher(s). A single, successfully completed registration will cover all eligible vouchers in the Member’s account. Once successful registration takes place, the expiry date of eligible vouchers will be updated in the member’s account by January 6, 2022, with the new expiry date of June 30, 2022.
Eligible vouchers include any of the following with a current expiry or ‘redeem by’ date of December 31, 2021:
Vouchers issued in connection to a WestJet RBC® credit card
Vouchers issued as a milestone award to Platinum, Gold and Silver members
Vouchers that have an expiry or ‘redeem by’ date other than December 31, 2021 are not eligible for the Extension; this includes vouchers expiring in 2022.
All eligible vouchers must be redeemed by June 30, 2022 and will not be extended further. For companion and seat selection vouchers, that means a booking must be made using your voucher by June 30, 2022 (travel may be completed later). For lounge and Gift of Gold vouchers, the vouchers must be redeemed, and all travel completed, by June 30, 2022.
