Ivette, Daniel and Rest of First Club Staff Make You Feel Like Family

We had a great stay at the Barcelo Aruba. The staff at the hotel is awesome. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Daniel and Ivette in the first club made us feel extra special this trip. Daniel made us feel like we were home while in the first club lounge and Ivette was amazing as always with Check in and in addressing any issues (only one was the keys stopped working) we had during our stay. Location: Best location in Palm Beach. Nothing is more than a 5 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants in the area. Can’t beat the location. Food: Food is OK for an all inclusive. The buffet for breakfast is OK. However, if you don’t eat eggs (they have 2 people making fresh eggs and omelette) it might get tiring. Lunch Buffet on the beach does its job. As far as specialty restaurants our favorite is the Hibachi at Kyoto. The Mexican and Italian were OK. Nothing to rave about, but OK. We did eat out 4 nights. Room: Rooms are nice. However, only have double beds not queen so keep that in mind. Staff: THE BEST!!!!!! The highlight of the Barcelo for us is the people who work there and who constantly treat us like family. From the guys on the beach who give you beach chairs to the cooks at the buffet, the staff at this hotel is amazing. All in all you can’t go wrong with Barcelo. Is it perfect, no. But to me and my family, the staff make up for any shortcomings we encountered. Thanks again to Daniel and Ivette for making our families trip extra special !!!

My sisters and I visited for an overdue birthday trip. Check-in and check-out were very smooth and no long line when we arrived. Overall, enjoyed my stay at this resort. On beach location near shopping/restaurants. The resort is clean, but mattresses & pillows need replacing. All the staff I encountered were very pleasant & professional. We ate some meals off-site but had breakfast & some dinners at the resort. Food could be improved upon by cooking with herbs & spices because most of it was quite bland although a couple items were pretty salty. Adding more plant based/vegan options would be a big improvement.
