First time traveling to Barbados and what a experience it was. We chose Club Barbados and wasn't let down the Hotel was excellent with great and Freindly staff . Food was amazing with a great choice . Our apartment was cleaned on a daily basis with friendly cleaners who always had a smile . The island of Barbados is a beautiful place with stunning beaches with Sunshine and Sunsets that are absolutely out of this world. Certainly a holiday to remember and that's all down to the Club Barbados who made it happen for us .
Lovely place some staff let this place down

Hi we have just come back from a a 2 weeks stay at club Barbados. Points to make of true review so the pools are warm and nice I can also confirm there is access to a beautiful beach from the complex and the food yes it is amazing plenty of choice and no tummy issues food is lovely even a bbq night by the beach front. The site is clean and maintained you can catch a Reggae bus right outside to Bridgetown and so cheap so forget about taxis you don’t need and nice places to visit and the boat yard in Bridgetown is a great day out. Site complex has 3 pools and a seafront location and the sea can be a little rough but you can snorkel it’s calmer and best in the mornings. The site provide you towels for the loungers and you can always get a lounger and a big shout for tray the pool site guy he is so nice friendly and helpful too. Rooms are lovely and cleaned daily and evening entertainment is nice too, The snack bar food is to order so always fresh and nice wraps chips etc so great for snacks during the afternoon. Enid’s booked in restaurant is beautiful and staff are so efficient loved it. The main restaurant is also lovely and very nice food but a small issue is the bread and bagel and muffin area at breakfast has no knife to cut them open to toast and a knife is a must and you do forget and have to keep going back to your table to grab a knife to take up so you can cut a bagel or muffin so they need to put some knifes there. 2% milk was rarely on at breakfast only the odd days it was mostly whole soya or hot milk they do need to offer 2% milk for people on dietary requirements as I can’t eat whole milk personally. Ketchup is available at breakfast but no brown or Hp sauce this would be nice to get brown sauce I did point this out again a basic not a moan but it would be nice. Some staff members are so nice and yet some are very rude and ignore you or pull faces and suck there teeth at you and they don’t seem to care when tourists like us help pay their wages so that is disappointing we did write this on our feedback form but never got a reply from hotel and we also emailed the hotel at email:R Barrett to let them know about our issues and again they didn’t even reply so that speaks for itself if they ignore your emails too. The Excellent staff that go above and beyond are as follows you can soon see the ones that care about you and your stay which are below Tray Carmella ( manager) Kadliah Nikita Angel Ann Mia Chantelle Adriann ( makes the best omelettes by far) Ladonna Now for the Bad rude staff yes I am going to name you ! Nathaniel we asked him for cappuccino coffees at our table at the restaurant and he pulled a face at us both in the restaurant sucked his teeth at us with no response and walked off not a joke you should be ashamed. Dakari in the bar we asked to order snack bar food no one was at the bar only us but dakari pointed behind us saying you need to see that guy pointing to Dariusz who was taking food out to some other guests and whilst we waited for Dariusz a rather nicely dressed female came to order food and asked dakari within literally a few seconds of us asking and he immediately took her order there and then in front of us whilst we waited that is not nice we feel outcasted by him and we was both in shock at that so I personally commented to Dariusz about this and said maybe I should wear a skirt he replied what can I say that’s up to him so this was not very professional behaviour and dakari should be ashamed by his actions so shame on you and also dakari could not even make a pina colada right either unless he did it on purpose it was not the same like any of the other staff made and the small man in the bar and piano bar he knows how to make them the best he was an absolute pleasure. Another issue a lady in the restaurant on evening don’t know her name but she ignored us on service we booked in 7.30pm and service was so poor we had to get our own drinks no water either and by 9.45pm still no pudding and was then told they run out of icecream and we waited 1 hr for a starter and we complained to carmella the manager and we was not the only guest stated how bad it was and Carmella knew who this person was and she agreed so I must say it is a credit to the site by having carmella as she is very nice and she knows exactly who this lady is as we had to complain twice about the same lady I don’t know her name but she did not care about the guests others where saying the same to us about this lady too spoils the evening when it’s like that. Some staff let this down for club Barbados so they need to be pulled up about these issues if the value their jobs whilst others are exactly the right people club Barbados need for their team it is a shame some don’t care. We did love and enjoy the stay and reception staff are all very helpful too. We did have instances where we asked for a bob marley cocktail and staff in beach bar don’t like making them they pull a face and look at you like your in the wrong we learnt this drink takes a bit of preparation but we should not be told not today they should make what drinks we ask for as we are on vacation it was a lady in the beach bar who don’t like making them and she would pull a face and sigh then shake her head or she would say sorry out of ingredient so you can’t get it and again other guests commented on this too. I think it’s important you know this as we are the customer you have a lovely complex and food is great service can be good but the above things let it down so I hope you can look at these concerns raised and try to improve and sort those negative staff out please. Thanks
Relaxed, friendly, excellent experience

This is my fourth visit but the last time I visited The Club was 27 years ago so I didn’t know what to expect really. Just hoping it would mostly be a good experience I’m pleased to say it was every bit as great and somethings were much improved. The Club is a small boutique adult only experience and the majority of guests we spoke with had visited before. Repeat customers of course is always a good sign. The fact that some of the staff like lovely Sherry had been working at the hotel for 30 years also was a nice surprise . Management must care about their staff because everybody we encountered seemed happy to be there. Nothing was ever too much trouble for any staff member. Attentiveness during meal times was excellent, e.g always making sure water glasses were topped up and used crockery removed during courses at the buffet promptly. Having two restaurants it’s your choice when you breakfast every morning to choose between Sunset or Enid’s we prefered Sunset and each night either buffet or al a carte the choices were always different. Banana and continental dishes. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with the wide selection of dishes on offer. Really tasty options every day. Wine choices were nice also . All the staff were engaging and friendly particularly Sonia in the restaurant. Sitting around the pool there is always someone around who will bring you a drink although the four bars are really quick to walk to. Wheel chair friendly walkways run through the grounds except for access to the beach which is reached by a couple of steps. Directly on the coast the hotel doesn’t sit on its own sandy beach but it is possible to get into the water or you can just walk 2 mins and be on a long sandy beach that passes Sandy Lane hotel next door. The rooms are cool, clean with all facilities and there is a fridge even though this isn’t stocked. The entertainment is laid back and every night finishing around 11pm unless you want to visit the piano bar which closes at 2am. Enjoyed a great night in there . Overall travelling as a couple our experience was excellent the hotel scores top marks for customer service and quality of the food and we completely agree. We loved our holiday at the Club and will definitely be returning soon . This is a hotel that truly has its customers happiness at the heart of everything they do. Keep up the high standards and thank you
Won't be returning to this hotel we come to barbados for the beaches and the ocean

The beach area really let this hotel down, the reviews say use the beach next door whitch we did for swimming and it was lovely but there are no facilities like toilets sunbeds or bars unless you are staying at sandy Lane Hotel so stay at sandy Lane
Beautiful hotel

We spent a fortnight here and from the moment we stepped off the bus and was greeted with a rum punch it was total chill out time. Our room overlooking the pool was big and spacious and very clean. Breakfast and Lunch are help yourself with a great selection. Dinner is a menu choice four nights a week, two nights is a buffet and Monday nights is barbecue night on the beach. The staff are all welcoming and happy people. Sophia, Kareene, Vinny, David, Joshua, Caroline to name but a few ?? The piano bar is a must and Lyndon is a great guy and very entertaining. The spa is a must also and swanda is beautiful inside and out and the exfoliating scrub was a dream. We have travelled extensively over the years but you can’t help but fall in love with Barbados and Club Barbados will ensure you do !
