The Outrigger Waikiki East is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay in the heart of Waikiki. The location is unbeatable—just steps from Waikiki Beach, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and next to the International Market Place. Angie received us with a warm smile and amazing hospitality The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, many with balconies offering stunning ocean or city views. The beds are super comfy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel amenities include a nice pool, hot tub, and a well-equipped gym. Service is top-notch; the staff are friendly and always ready to help with great local recommendations.

Excellent customer service, very kind, after check out they held my luggage and when I went back to pick it up before heading to the airport I was offered 45 min in a hospitality room to shower and change and it really made my day! Very grateful..

Excellent stay! This will be my new go-to hotel in HNL. Excellent location one block away from beach, easy parking in the building. Shopping and food close by. Pool was cold, but hot tub was great. Gym is only accessible via pool, which means you cant use it off hours, which is my only complaint. There is no breakfast, but plenty of options nearby, including Duke's Lane for great malasada (mochi donut balls). I actually stayed at the former property (Ohana East) many years ago, when it was a budget hotel. I feel guilty giving this good review, because everyone will find out about it and prices might go up. I want to give kudos to the friendly folks at the front desk: Tracy for helping me with late checkout, and Angie and John for great service as well. I always stay at the HHV but that costs more than double and is crowded.

Really enjoying this newly renovated hotel. Had a great check in experience with Angie! She is very friendly and professional and gave me a wonderful and warm welcome. I stayed here once before, pre-renovation, and I must say I’m very impressed by the changes. The lobby and lower levels are beautiful and rooms updated with thoughtful fixtures and colors. The hotel is in a great location and as a solo traveler I find it to be an excellent choice.

The staff is amazing especially Tracy and John at the front desk/bell and Sasha with housekeeping. The rooms and pool/workout areas are very clean and well kept. I didn’t get his name but he did a great job. I did switch rooms due to faulty air conditioning and the second room also needed this repair. This was scheduled for quickly. I was upgraded to a nicer room on the west side which is more quiet. Of note there is loud construction happening on the east side across the street which is 6 days a week. It’s in a great location walkable to many restaurants and Waikiki.
