We were guests for two weeks. Everything was great from the beginning of our stay to the end. The location was amazing. We found the service to be exceptional. Our room was clean and comfortable. The common areas were immaculate and it was obvious the grounds keepers took pride in their work. We enjoyed the restaurant overlooking the ocean. Highly recommended for a great stay.

They gave us an upgrade, and the suite was amazing. The beach and the small pool were also incredible. The trolley through the hotels was pretty convenient. The concierge gave us a debrief about the island and it was really helpfull and also gave us great prices for the tours. At the beach, it would be amazing that with the room came with an umbrella and chairs, like included with your stay. Without having to pay per day for the rent. PD: Don't go to Hana, it is not worth it, the road is pretty but too stressful.

The staff at this property are so freindly. At so many places if you book on a third party your treated differently,that is not the case here.The customer is their #1 priortity. I felt appreciated and welcome. I will certaily return as soon as I can

First room was a converted storage with ceilings I could touch. I’m less than 6ft tall but I could touch the ceiling. It was offered as a full kitchen room. It was not. The bed was old and sank to the middle. There was no ice machine on the premises. I was told to buy it at a store two mile’s away if I wanted ice. Staff was confrontational and not accommodating until I pressed the room conditions including lack of water pressure in the converted storage room that was billed as a full kitchen room. Staff argued about hotel room versus owner-rented rooms. I don’t like or trust VRBO offers and don’t use them. The staff expected me to know they had owner-rented rooms. I didn’t. The ONLY quality experience on this property was the restaurant. Good food. Good staff. Very nice. The AC in the first and second room blew cold air onto the bed area making sleep impossible. The second room took all day to cool down. The water from the pipes gushed BROWN WATER! The staff said they run the water to flush the lines before a customer uses the room. The water for showers and the sink water is unsafe for human use with that brown sludge in all of the lines before HORRIBLE safety.

Beautiful resort. Our room was nicely furnished and appointed. Castaways is a favorite This was our first stay here even though we have visited Maui 25 times. We will definitely stay here again I have attached a sunset picture taken during our visit
