Outdoor pool isn’t heated and breakfast could be better

Good hotel a few over looked design features that could be better. Breakfast is very boring. Minimal choices. Pool is outdoor. Slide is up thing xl stair cases of steel stairs won’t allow lifejackets on them despite that not being a listed rule. Left a very sad 5 year old. Pool isn’t heated and the hot tub for sure could be hotter. Don’t need a key card to get into pool area but need a room key to get out of pool area or into the bathroom.

We spent 4 nights here on a family reunion. With 2 kids, this was the perfect place during the hot days of July. They thoroughly enjoyed the waterslide and we all loved the pool. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, providing advice on what we can do and where to go. We all had nothing but great things to say about the maintenance manager who we met in the pool area. His knowledge of the area and his kind nature and humour was very much appreciated. The free breakfast was appreciated and helped keep our budget in check. Definitely will return.
