2 Lost nights, dirty underwear & a half dark room!!!
KTMcrew (Utah) on Nov 09, 2024
Well, 2 nights in a row of the emergency alarm going off ruined 2 nights of sleep!!! One at 3:30am and one at 5:30am. The sound is so loud you jump from a dead sleep about a foot in the air and have a mild heart attack. Then the strobe lights drives you crazy. The first time it stayed on for at least 25 minutes. It was our whole floor at a minimum because the hallway was doing the same thing. Never could get word on what the problem was and calling the front desk 4 times over 2 days they said they were not aware of any alarms!!! Really!!! Never any reason or explanation. How about the last guests dirty underwear in the drawer as a welcome gift? Yep just part of the fun at the Aria. All the lights work on an iPad and half the lights in the room did not work iPad or switches. We called right after arriving and they said they'd reset the software. That did nothing and finally they fixed the lights the 3rd night right before we left. Three times they were sending a tech out and that only happened the 3rd night. Ridiculous service for a hotel of this caliber. We came in for SEMA so of course the rooms were 3x the price. The shades are on automatic electric runners. The black out shade was broken on the end so a foot worth of light during the night and day is allowed in. They did fix that the last night. The bright spot was Charmain at the front desk. She listened and understood. Fantastic employee!!! Three other employees just put us on hold and never came back on. That was mid afternoon when they were not busy at all. Anyway, Charmain offered food credit and waived the resort fee for the alarm hassle and no lights and wanted to comp us at least 1 day of the 3 day stay, but the supervisor would not let her. Could have been a great stay but this hotel really has to step it up. Many others we talked to on the floor were really disappointed how the alarm issue was handled and how they in every case acted like they had no idea anything had even happened! So many other hotels in Vegas really take care of you. Except for Charmain these guys just don't care.
Great Vegas Casino Hotel Experience

The Aria was our home base for four days on a recent trip to Vegas. We had previously stayed at the Bellagio and wanted something different and the property didn’t disappoint. It’s very large and connected via a tram to some of their other properties which made it easy to get around away from the crowds on the strip. Our room was spacious and well-appointed with a large bathroom with separate WC and roomy shower. We ate in a few of the restaurants on the property and enjoyed the pools a few times. We didn’t upgrade to a strip view and instead had a lovely view of the mountains.
