Our favorite place to stay!

We absolutely adore the Kauai Shores Hotel! My family comes to the island every other month while my husband works and this is hands down our favorite place to stay. The rooms are the perfect size for the ...four of us, modern and very comfortable for us to kick back and rest after a long day of big adventures around the island. There are many dining, coffee and beach options at walking distance. We love exploring the coconut marketplace and walking to the infamous Japanese restaurant, Kintaros. They do have a beautiful beachfront restaurant on property, Lava Lava, where they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. Their menu is diverse and the staff is very accommodating not only to my picky children but to my picky husband as well! We dine here multiple times each trip. A few of our top favorites are the Onolocious Fish Tacos, the Poke Nachos and the A-Bay Burger. Nothing beats dining with the fam right on the beach while sipping on a cocktail. We enjoy sitting down in the sand and playing for a little while the sun sets after we dine, and the best part is we’re only steps away from our room- no sandy car mess? We love that! Our kids also love to play in the pool while we relax in the hot tub or lounge in the chairs on the side. I can’t rave enough about this hotel, the staff and the location!! If you’re debating your stay here this is your sign to look no further, book the room and let the vacation commence!

The room was spacious, comfortable and modern. The property was beautifully landscaped and clean. The location was perfect, walkable to nearby shops and eateries. We loved that it was right on the beach. T...he only negative was that the live music was very loud, otherwise we would have stayed for a meal in the restaurant.
