Edit made the best omelets every morning for breakfast at Siempre! She was so friendly! Out of all the locations we visited during our stay, Pacifica was stood out in their service, quality of food/ammemities, and staff friendliness. We would definitely recommend!

Relaxing, organized, friendly, clean, safe

Manuel H (Fresno, California) on Jul 18, 2024

It was the perfect getaway from the daily life of work and stress. From the beginning the check in was really smooth. Our room was clean and fully stocked with complimentary drinks. I booked my proposal with this resort and everyone did a great job to make it happen perfectly. The staff is amazing! Saludos a Ricardo alias el Richard, Yair, Martin, Florinda, Edith, Mildred, Yaribel, Carlos B. Muchas gracias por todo! The food and drinks at all the restaurants were really great! Will definitely come back with family and friends.

Disappointing Stay

Donya T on Jul 12, 2024

My husband I stayed six nights in June for our 20th Anniversary. We splurged on this "luxury all-inclusive" property hoping to have a relaxing, romantic week to celebrate the milestone. Upon arrival, we noted how beautiful the resort property was and were excited about the week ahead. I'll preface the following with the information that we have stayed at many all-inclusive restaurants in Mexico, several being high-end, where we are usually greeted with champagne, a signature resort drink, or water at the very least, and then sit with someone for check-in who walks us through how the resort functions, how to utilize all the services - all while someone collects our bags and takes them to our room. Nope, not at Pueblo Bonito. We checked in, were given our bracelets, which served as our room keys and were told where to locate our room. We were also advised the bracelet signified our all-inclusive status. We were not greeted drinks, there was no explanation of services, no "how-to" on how to visit sister-properties for restaurants/services, no "how-to" navigate, what we later learned, was a time-wasting all-inclusive plan, and no list of activities, or how to access the shuttle services, etc. We got to our room, which was standard - nothing exciting or "luxury" about it. No bath, only a walk-in shower. No snacks, only beer and a couple waters and soda in the small fridge. We figured out on our own that there was an app that could be downloaded. We did so, but the app was buggy and would not allow us make dinner reservations. We walked down to the front desk and asked about dinner and were referred to the Concierge who told us the app does not work well and we could make reservations with him, as ALL dinner restaurants on site required reservations. If we wanted to eat somewhere where we did not have to make a reservation, we could order room service or would need to travel to a sister-property. Ok, we though, we can manage that. Dinner was fine, and as we got up to leave, when done eating. We were chased down by the waiter and advised we needed to wait to "check-out." AFTER EVERY MEAL - you have to wait to scan your bracelet (after already scanning to GET INTO the restaurant) to check out. This may not have been such a pain if the service was attentive, but we frequently waited longer than we liked to "check-out" after eating. On top of that, many items were an extra charge. The only lunch options were room service or pool side orders. Only problem is that every time we were poolside we would have to get up and track someone down to order food. Not one time, our entire vacation, did someone come to us poolside to ask if we'd like anything. And don't forget you still have to "check out" after as well. So, we had to track them back down to do so when done eating/drinking. The shuttle service is unorganized and at the sister-property, Sunset Beach absolute chaos. At times we waited over 1/2 hour to hop a shuttle. At times, a shuttle would arrive, and you would not even know where it was going. When we asked, we were told there was a shuttle to town; however, when we went to see about taking it, were told it only runs twice a day, once in the morning and once at 7pm. So, we took a taxi there and back - another "all-inclusive" service that cost us extra. One night, we had dinner outside, and were quite comfortable under the outdoor heater (it was chilly out) and the server came by and took the heater and moved it to another family several tables away without consulting us at all. We were shivering by the time we left. Our last night, we no hot water. We thought it was a fluke, until the next morning, as we were readying to leave, my husband showered again in full-on cold water. It was a disappointing stay for what we were hoping would be even just a "bit" of pampering. The customer service was just sub-par, especially for touting itself as an "Adults Only Luxury Resort." Bright spots - the omelet bar was exceptional (the ladies that work it were phenomenal) and the resort is indeed aesthetically beautiful. Neither of which is worth going back for, however.
