Beautiful setting, unique, very clean, excellent service, friendly people and good food. Excellent spa but very pricey compare to US. Restaurants also on the pricey side. Only negative comment is not ADA compliant, very few elevators for upper floors so not good for elderly or anyone unable to walk uphill or climb stairs.

Beautiful grounds, very very polite and friendly staff! Food is decent. Facility overall was good. Room was decent size however the room was very outdated, outlets were very old, furniture very old, bad lighting.

Johnathan was very attentive. My girlfriend her birthday and it was such fun. Steaks Seabass and sides were perfectly prepared. we were offered a Mexican wine blend that was delicious. The view from the outdoor dining area was breathtaking.

I am writing this to express my profound disappointment with our recent stay at Hacienda Del Mar in Cabo. My wife and I have been loyal visitors for the past three years, staying during Thanksgiving week to enjoy the resort with family. My wife’s uncle and aunt, who are long-time members with a timeshare handed down from her grandmother, have always spoken highly of the property, and our previous experiences reflected that. Unfortunately, this trip was markedly different due to a deeply distressing incident. During our stay, money was stolen from our bags and wallets, and my wedding band was taken from my backpack. This occurred after the one and only full housekeeping service we received during our stay (and was only a turndown in the afternoon), which took place while we were out at the pool and beach for a few hours. Upon realizing what had happened, we immediately reported the theft to management. We were told an investigation would be conducted, requiring 72 hours. A thorough search of our room was carried out, including inspecting mattresses, clothing, and bags, but nothing was found. At check-out, we followed up with the manager, who informed us that the report was not yet complete and promised to contact us with the results. When we inquired about potential compensation for the inconvenience, we were met with resistance and a lack of empathy. To our dismay, the manager insinuated that the theft was our fault for not using the in-room safe, despite the fact that the stolen items were taken from closed bags. His response—admitting that the rooms are not secure—was both shocking and unacceptable, particularly for a Marriott Autograph Collection property. Upon our return and further research of travel advisories, we discovered that this is not an isolated incident. Similar reports of theft at the property have occurred, including some around the same time as our visit. This raises serious concerns about security measures at the hotel and the ability to provide a safe environment for guests. To date, we have not received any updates or follow-up communication regarding the incident. Despite contacting the hotel again, I was told the manager was unavailable and would email me, but no correspondence has been received. This experience has left us deeply disappointed and disheartened. The lack of accountability, empathy, and resolution from management has undermined our trust in the property and its staff. While we have cherished our past visits, this incident ensures we will not return to Hacienda Del Mar in the future. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that immediate improvements are made to enhance guest security, staff accountability, and overall service.
