June in Cabo

The month of June and Villa del Palmar was a perfect time to enjoy paddle boarding. Omar is so professional and I always felt safe on the water with him. I also enjoyed the cooking activities offered like the tortilla making class, ravioli making class, and Cabo Chopped is really fun. Thanks to Leydi and Andreas for making that happen. The pool area would not be the same without Chloe, Alana, Chuy, chuy, chuy, and the rest of Laura Jones' team. These are the same team members that star in the evening shows, that are simply fantastic. It is a must that you go see them when staying here. I highly recommend Villa del Palmar Cabo. Wonderful view, close to town and a super friendly staff. Also a shout out to Wendy at the check-in counter, always checking in on us. We had a wonderful time.
Had fun poolside

Great amount of pools. Even a splash pad for kids. Food was decent. Especially pizza. Tacos were ok. California rolls were good. Bella California for dinner was good. Sometimes service at restaurants could've been improved. Just weren't super attentive to take food order. Even after multiple attempts of walking over and finding a server. Was surprised to see servers called out by name in reviews as we never encountered any exceptional service. Hotel front desk staff was not happy to talk to us when we had questions about our room. Did the all inclusive. Was worth it for prices of food and how far away other options are. Signing receipt for everything did slow us down a little bit, but wasn't a big deal. They could've added another register for this to help with lines. Bars and restaurants here close at about 11 I think so if you're a late night person, you might have to go off site for drinks. Family had a great time there. Beach was fun but didn't really get to swim there because of the crashing waves. I think only a couple days out of five we were there they actually had chairs set up down there because how high the waves were coming up. Not able to walk to marina from there. Maybe would've tried it without kids but would've been a hike to have to carry the baby all the way there. Missing a grab and go type food and drink option for all inclusive so you are subject to wait times for table or food being cooked. No buffet except for dinner shows. Good selection of food there. Just a heads up, Kids room requires reservation after you arrive. They don't allow drop in at any time. Was OK as kids loved the pool so much, they barely went there.
