Family vacation 2024
MrJRB75 (Oakman, Alabama) on Jul 14, 2024
My wife and our 3 children, ages 6,11&12 stayed from 7/3-7/6 great service comfortable room. Upon arrival around 9am on the 3rd we checked in with the front desk and was offered immediate check in for $99 extra, but we could check our bags for $1 each and our room was ready about 2pm. Plenty of seats in the lobby to rest a while before we checked out NYC. We returned around 2pm and asked if our room was ready. We were given our room keys and our bellhop saw us to our Spacious room.
Amazing Anniversary Stay at A Classic Hotel
nyc2vin (Marin County, California) on Jul 13, 2024
We totally enjoyed our stay at The Edison celebrating our Anniversary. It was good to be back and better than we remembered. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the security staff were great. The WIFI was good but spotty at times. Rommel Gopez (Director of Guest Relations) was amazing. He was warm, friendly and gave us the personal touch that made us feel special. His team was outstanding. LaToya at the reception desk always had a smile and made us feel comfortable and "at home". They were both the epitome of what to expect from a classic hotel like The Edison. The room was clean and comfortable but during our second night (of our nine night stay) we had a major flood from the room above at 4:30 in the morning. Andrew, the night manager and James came up quickly and upgraded us to another room. Again a great team that worked well together! The breakfast vouchers were good and gave us several convenient options to choose with flexible hours (which is a rarity). The only suggestions I would give are to have a magnifying mirror in the bathroom and better lighting in the room, perhaps dimmers. Look forward to our next stay.
