Great Location Near Disneyland

The Anaheim Hotel is located in a fantastic spot right near Disneyland, making it convenient for travelers. After reading reviews, I was excited to stay at the hotel. However, it could do with a makeover. The room, although very spacious, which was great, was dated, and the bathroom smelled of mold every time we showered or walked back into the room after being gone. Thankfully, we had a travel-size Lysol spray, which helped (how sad!). Our friend, who stayed in a different room, experienced the same issues we had. In addition, the parking rate that is shared in the confirmation and welcome e-mails is much lower than what they charge you there. Be sure to double check you are getting the quoted rate. The front desk employee thankfully honored the rate that was sent via e-mail. If you are wanting to stay at a hotel in a great location, it is the place to stay; just know the rooms are average at best. However, if the hotel would make a few updates, it would make a huge difference.

We really liked that the hotel was close to the park. The beds were comfy and the staff was very nice. We checked in and then had to change rooms because of the limited mobility of two people in our group, including my sister who is also developmentally disabled. The staff was very helpful, especially Leo who helped us move our things and helped out my sister. He was so kind! The rest of the staff was also very friendly and helpful. We didn’t have a chance to check out the pool, the gift shop nor the work out room but was glad they were available.
