We had a wonderful time. 7 days standard room with 2 kids. The rooms were clean and the staff were all very nice. There is a small mini fridge in the room but no microwave. There is a communal microwave in food court. They come daily to refresh towels and tidy the room. The lazy river was fun as was the slide. The pool had lots of life guards and plenty of friends for the kids. The bar was convenient and drinks were good and cold. We never waited very long for a bus and having early admission was great.

Love the lazy river. It’s nice to have the bus transport to the parks. Starbucks inside the hotel is also very handy and a cheaper breakfast. Cool large rooms. Super clean and very comfortable bed. Best part tho. The lazy river on a 90 degree day after the park!

My wife and I were robbed from our personal bags out of our hotel room! Security came, and I gave them the before, and after photos showing clearly that our bags had been rummaged through… Cash was taken and Universal did nothing except lead us on to believe that they would resolve the situation.

Check your bank account!!!!We first arrived and were amazed by the atmosphere! We don’t live far so this was a weekend to celebrate our grandson’s grades. 1. We noticed we were charged twice for our room after a confirmed deposit- 2. key didn’t work so maintenance came to replace the lock and it took a few hours( he was kind, but my husband was not going to leave our room unlocked while we went to dinner.Desk told us we can rent rafts on room card for lazy river, nope! Has to be preplanned which they did not inform us when I called the desk prior to going- Next customer service agent , a man, gave us a courtesy 45 dollar meal comp- for the extra charges on our account-so I brought my husband’s dinner to our room- Food at Bayliner was great beyond my expectations. Woke up in the morning to see my card was now charged again for the room! Now , 800 over! Went to desk again, trying to patient, they put 200 on our room card, however when we got to park it didn’t work! They told me to stand in line again and check it- 50 ish people in front of me- So I’m charging everything Now, Bruna, an agent there was so very polite and professional, knowing our vacation was ruined as we had no money for fast passes because of their admitted error- ,vacation ruined, hotel ( besides Bruna) was clueless! Room and food wonderful-

A Universal holiday is not relaxing - it is fun! We loved the look, price and location of Cabana Bay Resort & also that it was ‘onsite’, which meant that we did not require a car. This saved us £££’s (or $$$’s) - we are from the UK. No car hire prices, no extra insurance, no fuel costs, no parking charges … as there are so many ways to get about: free bus transfers to the parks, river taxis and of course just walking! We also used Mears Taxis to get about when we went ‘off-site’ - very reasonably priced. You only had to walk next door for Volcano Bay & you also got early entry. We all loved the Movie nights, Fire pit, 2 pools, lazy river & slides and there was always something to do. (We never had time for Galaxy Bowling!) We bought the ‘unlimited’ cups for the duration of our trip @ $25 each. Great for coffee, then water or pop (soda) everyday. If you wanted to go to SEAWORLD, then you take the free bus to city walk and jump on the free SEAWORLD bus (goes and returns once a day), ask at the Attractions desk. We took some English goodies & Chocolate for the desk staff & they really appreciated it! You will love it here & the kids will not want to leave! Thank you Cabana Bay.
