Disappointed. Unkind staff.

Walls are very thin. Very strange light switches. Very little outlets for charging phones but mostly difficult if you need a Cpap to sleep with. Wish person who checked us in was more helpful and it seemed like if you asked any questions they seemed almost curt and that you were bothering them. However room was clean.
Family Fun at Dockside: A enjoyable Stay in Orlando

We visited as a family with our two boys at the end of October. The hotel is conveniently located near Universal, I-Drive, and various retail outlets. The shuttle service to and from the theme parks was frequent and efficient, with a wait time of no more than five minutes. Our children enjoyed the pool area, table tennis, and the games room. We utilized the poolside bar and the main foyer bar; while the drinks were somewhat pricey, they were not unreasonably so. The Pineapple cider was particularly enjoyable, and having a Starbucks on-site was very convenient. Although the room was not the largest and was simply furnished, it was comfortable and well-maintained daily by the housekeeping team. Despite being on a middle floor, we did not experience significant noise, certainly no more than in other accommodations we have stayed in. The only downside was the air con being on full blast in the communal areas of the hotel, at times it was good to get outside to warm up! Finally, as someone with Coeliac disease (Celiac in the US), finding gluten-free food while traveling can be challenging. However, the on-site dining facilities were excellent, with staff who were knowledgeable about gluten-free options. The food choices were good, and the gluten-free meals were freshly prepared. I felt confident dining at the hotel and ended up eating most meals there as I genuinely enjoyed the food. If we return to Orlando in the future, we would certainly consider staying at Dockside again
