Don’t stay here
Vincent M on Dec 06, 2024
This hotel is a total dumpster fire. Smoking is not allowed yet the entire building we stayed was an ash tray! It’s filthy and disgusting, the bath tub finally drained after 9 hours, there was a dirty diaper on the floor in the hallway for nearly 12 hours. Staff is incompetent. Stay away, do not book. Oh I forgot to mention a guest decided to leave his door open to display the bird cages and hamsters, and the smell of filthy animal cages! Nothing was done by staff for the smoker or the bird guy! Do not stay here unless you don’t mind straight filth, terrible staff, nasty breakfast, and cigarette smell!
Nice staff, run down and overpriced hotel
AdoggLT (Las Vegas, Nevada) on Nov 23, 2024
I’m only giving a 3 star because the staff is nice and our room had a great layout. Hotel musty and totally run down, gym extremely pathetic and unkept, 1 of 2 washers on site broken, phone doesn’t work in room, and so on. Would be fine if priced at $150/nt but cost twice that, also not in the greatest location. Good reminder why Hyatt and Hilton are my go to brands, at least they price their outdated properties more appropriately.
Perfect Central Location for Mesa Special Event

We booked two suite rooms at the Residence Inn for five nights to use as a central location while attending a wedding at nearby Villa Tuscana. The suite rooms were spacious enough to entertain others in town attending the event. There was also common spaces to use for gathering. The hotel had a friendly, efficient staff. There was plenty of off street, free parking. It is located in a neighborhood with other hotels as well as nearby shopping, eating, and recreation. It backs up against a driving range. The suite rooms have a good size kitchen area with appliances, flatware, pots and pans, plates and glasses. The bathroom was modern with a separate vanity. The king bed was comfortable. There was a tv in both the main room and the bedroom which could be closed off. There was a pull-out sofa which offered plenty of seating room for guests. The internet was free and reliable. Security was tight with key access needed for each door. The free breakfast had many warm and cold options. It was dog friendly. Overall, it was a great place to hang out and entertain others while attending the events around the wedding.
Nightmare at the Pool
F4662PUdavidb on Oct 08, 2022
A guest had set up his own 4-foot speaker (complete with flashing lights) at the pool side. The music he was playing was loud enough to shake the windows all around the pool. The local staff refused to enforce any kind of noise policy saying it is "reasonable" since they don't have hotel-provided music at the pool ... so people are welcome to bring their own. I took video of this and showed it to the staff at another Marriott hotel. They were astounded that this could be allowed. Basically, the Resident Inn told me that if I don't like it I should leave. So I did. I don't usually complain, but this was truly amazing. I should post the video on the internet. I bet it will go viral. It is something to behold.
Excellent Stay

We spent 7 days here in the middle of April. Hotel is in a good location as you have easy access to highway 60 and 101. Rooms were a good size and clean and we had everything we needed. It was nice to have a full size fridge and Microwave. There was also a hot plate and a dishwasher. Beds and couch were comfortable. Two tv's - main room and bedroom. Pool is nice with towels available. Breakfast was good although repetitive. Staff were super friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.
