Great getaway for families!

My wife and I, along with our 3 daughters (7, 6, 2) and my mom came here and had a great time. Beach is beautiful, pools were awesome. There was a mix of all sorts of people, from young families, party goers, and tamer older folks, but it really seemed like nobody was stepping in each others toes and everyone found their spot on the resort. It all worked pretty good it felt like. The food was also overall quite good! The pool deck could get a pretty slippery, so some kind of water shoe for the little one might be a good idea. Also, it did seem like finding info on shows/events wasn’t as easy as it could have been. As well, it wasn’t easy booking or finding info on a la carte meals, as it had to be done early each day and there was always a big line. Overall I would definitely recommend this place, especially for families. I wouldn’t call it a 5 star resort, but as long as the price continues to reflect that, it is a good value for a good overall resort that anyone can enjoy. We would come back!
Wedding Ceremony, Reception, and Group Stay

We chose Marival Emotions as the location for our wedding ceremony, reception, and group stay. We truly enjoyed our stay! Our highlights were the beach (great for swimming/boogie boarding), the pool (lots of different pool options and fun activities), and the staff (so kind and helpful). We also enjoyed the food options and didn't mind eating the buffet for more than half of our meals (Griselda was wonderful). Our room had good free wifi and strong air conditioning. We had a minor snag at check-in (print your confirmation of payment) but that was taken care of quickly. Our elderly guests were accommodated with early check-in and our younger guests were able to use the amenities until check-in time -- their luggage being cared for in the meantime. Some parts of the resort are closed for renovations, but we did not notice that too much. As for our wedding ceremony and reception, a big thank you to our onsite coordinator, Krizia! She made helpful suggestions about locations that elevated our experience and allowed for more privacy. She added extra, thoughtful touches to our simple reception decor that we loved. She went above and beyond to help make our day special. We had so much fun and loved our wedding!
