The most beautiful beach. Service was excellent. We love our butlers Amaury, Miguel, Sebastian and Mauricio!! Food was great. We love this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The stay was wonderful. Mayquer helped us immensely thank you so much. The food was phenomenal. The beach was always immaculate. All in all, loved every minute of it. We'll definitely be back. Thank you all very much 10 out of 10. Will definitely come back.

My husband and I had been to another Catalonia Royal but I didn't like the small beach as water was full of weeds, so we tried the Catalonia in La Romana. The beach, water is clear, blue, transparent and everything you could hope for. Never any seaweed. A bit of a step to get out of the water, but ok. The room was spacious and comfortable, large 2 person shower. We booked a swim up jr suite so had access to the pool which we enjoyed very much. The food was generally good, we found enough options in food and drinks to satisfy ourselves. The hotel staff was very friendly and accomadating. This was a stress free vacation and we are already planning our return. P.S. the only stress was dealing with people at the beach who already had ALL chairs staked out by 7 a.m. , and I think the hotel could do more when they see saved chairs empty for hours, or multiple chairs saved by 2 people. Shame on those greedy people and shame on the hotel.

Everything!!!!! Everything was excellent! The staff, the room, the restaurants and the FOOD! The beach beautiful, a lot of shaded umbrellas, well cared for sandy areas,goegeous calm beautiful water. Cannot say enough!! Ishmael, Frank were just a few who had our meal times taken care of.

From start to finish we were treat like royalty. Resort was stunning restaurants fantastic with loads to choose from in all alcarte & buffet & snack bars. All the staff couldn't do enough for you. Too many to name but afew that stood out was modeso from bloved, Daniel from beach bar & Roberto smoothie guy from buffet breakfast. Rooms were stunning & spacious. Fantastic place to stay highly recommended
