This resort was spectacular! Met with warm towels when we arrived. Check in was 10 minutes at most. The restaurants had phenomenal food and were all inclusive. The drinks served at the restaurants and pools tasted great. Berenice, our local guide, was amazing for reserving dinner and sharing the days activities. She was always greeting us kindly and offering things to do if we were interested. She was never pushy and did a fantastic job making our stay memorable. The swim up pool room was gorgeous. I loved having a patio and water available at our door 24/7, especially since the public pools do close in the evening. The swim up pool was a little cold, but the availability right outside our door made up for it. The finishes in the room and around the resort are were such high quality. When we had a little rain, we spent some time shopping around the stores at the resort. All things considered, this was a great vacation choice and I would absolutely come back or recommend to friend or family! The bell boys took care of all our bags for us. The cafe was always serving tea, coffee, etc. I was able to exchange currency at the front desk without a problem. I never had any issues whatsoever.

The most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Laid-back atmosphere without the loud, drunken behavior found in many AI resorts. Well-maintained property, although we had thermostat issues, as did quite a few other couples we met. (Our local host - Mario - was awesome and had us moved to a different room as soon as we told him what was happening.) More refined activities than usual, all a la carte restaurants with upscale food choices, and very comfortable beds and pillow choices. Beautiful beach, very suitable for swimming if you go to the north end of the property. I can't say enough about the Unico staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. When my husband fell ill, they made sure the necessary prescription meds were delivered (on a Sunday!), and continued to follow up with us until they knew he was getting better. Our local host, Mario, made sure to contact us everyday to see if there was something he could do for us. His suggestions, tips and general advice were invaluable. Overall I'd recommend Unico to anyone wanting a relaxing adult-only vacation with a more upscale offering.

Amazing stay at Unico Riviera Maya! Its very calm, aesthetic, clean and elegant. The food is really good and there is a lot of variety. The service of Carlos and Mena was amazing. They were very attentive and prepared all the details for my dads birthday at the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here as part of our honeymoon. The resort was very clean and given its smaller footprint, it was quiet and relaxed. Most of the food we had was delicious, and the service was excellent. We also loved our excursion to Chichen Itza. Big thanks to our concierge, Eduardo, for his help in planning out our time!

We went on our honeymoon to UNICO 2087. I did a lot of research on my own to try to find the right place for us & I’m so glad I did because it was everything we wanted and more, we will definitely be coming back! It’s definitely a luxury resort & was affordable for the quality of service and experience you receive. From the stunning views, the GREAT food, over the top service, and just beautiful resort, it’s really an amazing place. Every single person there was so kind & we had a great host, Laura. I can’t wait until we come back!
