Spent 10 days on this idyllic island and were very impressed with Coconut Bay. We genuinely cannot think of anything we would improve. The staff were amazing, very friendly and always helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the fridge was kept stocked. The food was plentiful and of a high standard, and we'd highly recommend trying the a la carte restaurants. Each day was filled with optional activities, and each night had its own theme encompassing both entertainment and food. If you want to sit quietly, there was plenty of space to do so either in the shade, on the beach, or indeed in a hammock where many happy hours were spent! We can't recommend this resort highly enough.

Excellent resort. My birthday celebration was amazing!! Hotel staff was superb from Corrie and the front desk staff to Derek and the dining staff. Excellent service. Great food & drinks. Make sure you try the Jerk Tree house. Great vacation!!!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too difficult. Ruth and Richard on reception were outstanding. Keep smiling. The food was delicious, very good quality and enough variety for everyone. Again the staff were superb and a big shout out for Bertha, Theona, Shekina, Brad and Travis. Thank you for looking after us so well. The hotel is very clean including the toilets by the beach. This hotel has found the perfect harmony between making us feel at home and giving us a luxurious experience. The entertainment was good and the standard very high. Not to forget Gillie and Ritchie. We came across the most incredible yoga/aqua exercise teacher ever Vernon. Most incredible teacher I have ever come across. Operations manager Ronney, stay cool. Can’t wait to come back again. After some recent disappointing holidays abroad and in the UK in 2024 we were desperate for this St Lucia holiday to be perfection and it pretty much was! In just one holiday it made up for the disappointment of the whole year, thats how fabulous this resort is! We travelled BA with a 5 year old and a 7 year old. We did not use the kids club, although we know it would be great for other kids, but we just wanted, and needed to have as much family time as possible on this trip, and they had an incredible time, even without using it. The resort is very very well thought out especially for families with young children. The staff on the whole could not be more amazing. Unfortunately I left it too late to mate a note of all the staff that made our holiday truly brilliant, from the guy behind the rum pop-up station (who let me drink all the limited edition Mount Gay that I wanted!) to the waiter that remembered us every meal time with a smile and a fist bump. But I did make a note of two names and special mention goes to CORRIE on the front desk who was lovely, and SHEKINA in the main buffet restaurant who was absolutely wonderful with our family and gives a very good hug! The chefs throughout the resort do a truly fantastic job all day every day and actually probably don't get the credit they deserve. The food was faultless. The choice off pools, and the addition of waterslides and the lazy river was 100% perfect for what we needed. We did not do any excursions as we didn't need to on this holiday but believe me we will be back and we will do more next time. The fact that we could spend all of our 9 days just swimming in the pool and eating the superb food is a testament to how good the 'simple' things are. If you walk along the beach just a short 5-10 minutes you get to a wonderful cocktail hut, a burger hut, some over-water hammocks and the warmest sea we have ever been in. We didn't even do the snorkel or paddle board hire and we still absolutely loved the beach! Back to the food... aside from the buffet, we did the jerk treehouse a few lunch times and the food was absolutely delicious. We also did Silk one night and Calabash one night. Both were a real treat for me and my wife as, although they catered slightly less for children than the buffet, it meant that we, as parents, were not getting up every 5 minutes to get our kids food, which was worth its wait in gold. As an aside, I have to mention Shass at Silk who was an absolute delight. If I ask you to think of your perfect family waitress, I guarantee you will imagine Shass. She was SO nice and so attentive. Thank you so much Shass. But even thought the two bookable restaurants were great for me and my wife (again the food was truly exceptional), we decided the buffet was better for our young kids so we did that at all other times. The foam party was a highlight as was the country night. Honestly it was very nearly 100% perfect. A couple of things to note, which may not have been up to the standard of the rest, but didn't really detract from our holiday were..... -Slightly dated and bathroom that could do with a maintenance upgrade, and a slight damn smell in the room for our stay. -the volume and intensity level of the Caribbean night we do feel was way too much which meant that lots of people who would usually get involved in dancing etc, may not have done because of the very very loud music and shouting. It was completely different to the country night which was very well judged. a note to management - it would be extremely beneficial to have more umbrellas around the pool as there were so many families with young children that needed, but missed out on, an umbrella for the daytime sunshine. One brief mention goes to Thomas who you will find on the beach just beyond the coconut bay steps, who was the nicest 70+ year old Caribbean gentleman that you will find - we bought coconut birds, and anklets from him and he was one of the nicest people you'll meet. Even if you don't want to buy, just chat to him and see his smile! Needless to say we will be returning because this was one of the most perfect family holidays we have ever had for us. We had such an amazing stay at coconut bay. It was beyond all of our expectations!! We truly could not have found a better fit for our needs as a group. It had the perfect amount of adventure and relaxation. The grounds were absolutely stunning and you can tell what hard work the staff put in on a daily basis to maintain this piece of paradise! The private beach and beach bar was such a fun and unique accommodation. We could not believe all of the negative reviews towards the beach as our group enjoyed swimming almost every day. The food was outstanding!!!! We’re still talking about the dishes at each restaurant and buffet. The service was even better. I wish I could recall everyone’s names for they really did make our stay feel so special. Everyone working the lobby bar and beach bar was absolutely amazing and attentive to our needs. The bartenders at the lobby bar were fantastic at making sure everyone was having fun and enjoying their stay. The late night bartender upstairs was kind and very efficient. Everyone at the beach bar had such fun vibes and the adults only pool bartender was always accommodating to our needs! I believe the cook at the late night snack bar deserves acknowledgment after watching him working very hard in very warm temperatures, accommodating multiple group orders all at once late night. I could go on about staff and how friendly they were throughout the trip. We look forward to returning to Coconut Bay not soon enough.
