ANOTHER WONDERFULL STAY THANKS

Hola June 26 to July 3, 2024 We book through Maritime Travel, Main Street Moncton N.B. We traveled with Air Canada Vacations, congrats to them, not one delay and all 4 flights were on time.?? This was our 27th or 28th stay in Cuba. A lot of the locals think I am Cuban?? Entering Varadero the security guard tried to get me to use the Cuban Residents check in.?? This was our 6th stay at Iberostar Bella Vista. We have complete respect and appreciation for this resort. Every time we return it seems to be getting better. The service, for us, it was perfect. The credit must go to the Staff. What a beautiful bunch of Ladies and Men. Thank You so much.... I will get started with, UPGRADE to Star Prestige. It is worth every penny, and it isn't that much extra. We have always upgraded, and the benefits are worth the extra. We had a suite on the 9th floor. Beautiful room, lots of storage and plenty space to lounge or be comfy. the bed was perfect, shower was better than home. Our maid, Elaine was extra special. Hard working lady who deserves credit for making our stay comfortable in a clean room.?? The beach, not much to say, everyone knows the beach's in Varadero are amazing. The beach staff and entertainers were great. Hard working crew in the heat of summer. We had another wonderful July 1 Canada day celebration on the beach. They had a big set up for Canada day. This was fun, a real fun day. Please continue to do this.?? The resort grounds were kept clean, and the crews were always working, clearing weeds, cutting grass, shoveling snow (just checking to see if you're reading this ??). They were around doing small repairs. What a great bunch of guys. Entertainment in the evening was OK. It was in the lobby. They did have a great July 1 show for the kids then the adults. The bar tenders are busy and do a wonderful job. One day they ran out of Cola. The FOOD. Oh my, the food. They have hired a new Chef. his name is Chef Patrick. The food has improved to the point of, where are we. This is not Cuba. We ate at the Panoramic restaurant 6 mornings, 2 lunch's and 3 evenings. Not one poor meal. we cleaned our plates at every sitting. Fresh cooked omelets, with real eggs and bacon, crispy every morning. Just the way we asked for it. I will post a few pics of the plates. we also went to the Asian, Italian and Cuban. These also were really good. I can't say enough about the food, especially in the Panoramic restaurant. This mentioned earlier, this was our 6th stay at Bella Vista and we have only been into the buffet 2 times, so we don't review the buffet. I would be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the gal in the towel shack. Thank you so much for doing what you do. You sit in that hot hut and give us the clean towels for the next day. You're a sweetheart. Don't be afraid to tip this gal, she uses her tips to buy supplies for an orphanage in her town. We met some wonderful people during our stay. From single people looking to relax to family's enjoying their time as a group. We all have interesting lives, and it is fun to hear about other people's lives. In a nutshell, plan a trip to Bella Vista, Varadero Cuba. Upgrade to star prestige and you won't be disappointed. In closing we would like to mention Yoanna and Diana who make our room and dining reservations. Thank you so much gals, you're the best. We are already planning March 2025. The accommodation conditions were not too bad but not very good either. The food was good. However, there was a major issue with the hotel's integrity. On June 17th, I paid a $120 deposit for four bath towels. When I returned the towels on June 18th, the front desk staff said it would take two to three days to refund the amount to my credit card. However, two weeks have passed and I have not received any refund. We have made numerous phone calls and sent emails, but no one has responded or taken action.
