We have stayed at the Fairmont Hotel Winnipeg a number of times over the years whilst visiting family. We always have a great stay and our most recent 5 night trip was no exception. We were delighted with our room upgrade due to my husband's Accor platinum status. A lovely, spacious corner room which was both comfortable and peaceful. A great way to get over our jet lag having travelled all the way from Australia. There was a little confusion with our booking due to a small blip on the Accor booking App but Muskan the front office manager was super helpful in sorting it all out when we arrived. The hotel bar/lounge is a great place to unwind and relax with a wonderful atmosphere and ambience - thank you so much to the team who looked after us so well - Adrianna, Amelia, Daniel, Adam and Willem. On checking out Zam (lovely young man again always so helpful) on reception noted that we hadn't taken advantage of our complimentary breakfast due to my husband's status. The team went above and beyond to accommodate us for a late booking and we enjoyed the most splendid breakfast before we departed! Rod was so professional and welcoming and the food outstanding! Last, but most certainly not least, we have to mention Evelyn our housekeeper for the majority of our stay. This lady was exceptional. She noted that we had milk which we had stored in our mini bar fridge which was not that cold. She arranged without our knowledge for a more efficient fridge to be delivered to our room for our milk! What amazing service we were blown away and it truly made us feel like valued guests. We would like to thank all members of the team for looking after us so well. Brilliant hospitality Accor should be very proud of them all! We will be back again very shortly for a two night stay on the Gold Floor - we cannot wait!

The level of service and perks offered on the "Gold 19th Floor" were above expectations! My room on the 19th floor was clean and well equipped, and offered a beautiful view of the downtown area and river. Hotel location is close to many attractions--mainly The Forks entertainment district--but also several restaurant and shopping options. Parking options are to be expected when staying at a hotel in the middle of city center.

Outstanding hotel. Love this one in all of Canada and I have been to many. Modern and updated, every amenity one could ask for, beds are so comfortable, lounge and restaurant so great. Will be back again and again. Staff are courteous, friendly and so helpful. If you are in Winnipeg, this is the absolute best hotel to stay in. You will not regret it. Close to the hockey arena if you are there in the winter time. Close to The Forks as well.

I am finding that there are no perks to being a Fairmont member. Room on the same floor as catering, very dated, carpet stained and ripping on the edges, walls and trim marked up, bathroom door was dirty, furniture ripped or marked up, piece of the wall board falling off, no name brand coffee. Will not stay again.

All good! Great location! The bar staff was friendly and fun, the food was good, we had drinks and snacks before heading out to dinner then breakfast and lunch the next day. Rooms were quiet and clean. It was an easy walk to the river and parks, we found a crafts market in a park nearby on a Saturday morning.
