Changes to Canada’s Testing Entry Requirements

Effective February 28, Canada has eased testing requirements for fully-vaccinated travellers who can now present a professionally administered or observed negative antigen test result, taken within one day of their scheduled departing flight to Canada.

WestJet continues to support guests in navigating entry requirements for travel and through the airline’s existing partnership with AZOVA, guests  who have obtained an approved self-testing rapid antigen test, are now able to have their test observed and their results validated through AZOVA’s new video proctoring services to conveniently meet entry-requirements for travel to Canada.

Through its expanded offerings, guests travelling outside of Canada who have  obtained and packed  a Pan Bio or Rapid Response rapid antigen test can schedule a convenient video observation consultation with AZOVA in their destination for only $20 USD to receive a validated result to meet the new requirements for return travel back to Canada.

In addition to its availability in Canada, AZOVA’s comprehensive service offerings, including self-administered and in-person testing options, are available in the United States, Europe, the Caribbean & Central America.
