With priority boarding, you’ll be among the first guests invited to board our aircraft, providing you with extra time to comfortably settle into your seat.

• Provide a valid boarding pass to one of our gate agents during Zone 2 boarding and you (and any guests travelling on your itinerary) will be welcomed on board.

Window or aisle? Reserve your seat ahead of time on your next trip. As a Silver member, you’ll receive four (4) advance seat selection vouchers to use on upcoming flights. Vouchers can also be used for guests travelling on the same itinerary.

• Silver advance seat selection is valid for any Standard seat in the Economy cabin where a fee typically applies. Not valid for Exit Row and Extended Comfort seats. Not valid for seats in Premium or Business cabins.
• One-time use advance seat selection vouchers must be used prior to check-in; a fee will apply if selecting or changing a seat during check-in.
• To access seat selection vouchers, including for reservations made by travel agencies, visit Manage Trips on westjet.com.
• Seat selection vouchers are non-refundable when upgrading (either purchased or complimentary) to a higher cabin than originally booked.
• Seat selection is subject to availability. 

Check up to two bags for free when you achieve Silver status.

• Up to eight (8) guests on your reservation will also receive up to two (2) checked bags free if they are within WestJet’s baggage allowance standards. More details.
• Any item exceeding this allowance is subject to all applicable oversized baggage restrictions and fees.   

Our partnership with TELUS will help bring complimentary streaming-quality Wi-Fi to every WestJet Rewards member flying with us.

While our fleet is being upgraded, we recommend visiting our Flight Guide to determine whether free in-flight Wi-Fi is available on your aircraft. You can check up to three days before departure.

As a Silver member, you’ll receive six (6) lounge vouchers, which can be used to grant entry for yourself or your guests. Visit our Airport Lounges page for a list of participating lounges.

• Any guests must be accompanied by the Silver member and need to be travelling on the same itinerary. 
  
• Vouchers, including expiry date details, are available when you sign in to your account at westjet.com.
• A valid boarding pass displaying a WestJet flight number for a departing flight must be presented at entry. 

Whether you require assistance checking in, need to change a booking or are simply dropping off a bag, you’ll enjoy the convenience of our priority check-in line. 

• Valid for Silver members and any guests travelling on the same reservation. A valid boarding pass displaying the eligible member’s WestJet Rewards ID and Silver status must be presented.

With priority baggage, your bags will be tagged with a special indicator. When you reach your destination, your items will be among the first to arrive on the baggage carousel, allowing you to get on your way sooner. 

• Up to eight (8) guests travelling on your reservation can also receive priority baggage benefits.
• If using self-serve bag drop stations, please speak to an agent to request your priority tags.
• WestJet will make every effort to ensure priority baggage is delivered first to the carousel, but exceptional circumstances may cause this to change.

Get to your gate quicker with priority security.

• A valid boarding pass displaying your WestJet Rewards ID and tier level must be presented upon arrival at security. 
• This service is only available at participating airports and varies by routing. It may not be an option during certain hours or at particular screening points. 

Silver members travelling with WestJet can receive complimentary upgrades to the front of the aircraft or to seats in Extended Comfort before check-in. These opportunities are automatically allocated in priority order by tier, subject to availability.

When successful, an upgraded seat will be automatically assigned prior to the opening of the 24-hour check-in period and visible to the member when checking in. 

The only action required of you is:

1. Make an eligible booking. 
2. Ensure your WestJet Rewards ID is attached to your booking.

Silver members travelling with WestJet can receive last-minute complimentary upgrades at the boarding gate if seats in Extended Comfort, Premium or Business remain available. 

The only action required of you is:

1. Make an eligible booking.
   
2. Check in to your flight with your WestJet Rewards ID at least 75 minutes before departure (either online or at the airport).
3. Check your inbox or Apple Wallet approximately 40 minutes before your flight’s estimated departure to see if you’ve received a new seat assignment and boarding pass.

• Submit a Parental leave request form once you return from leave. 
• Depending on when your leave ends, your tier status will be reinstated or extended for the remainder of the year, plus the next qualifying year.
