Solid option for Barbados

I loved the aesthetic of the Hilton Barbados hotel as it was modern and luxurious feeling. Beach was amazing and food was really good.Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well appointed and the... ocean view was spectacular! Would stay again.
great hotel - suspicious issues with bill, be wary

stayed there from 25th Feb to 10th March and had a wonderful vacation for 2 weeks. the hotel is large and generally well maintained. Our room had a fantastic Ocean View, the room was in good condition and ...the maid provided an excellent service. The beach and pool areas are very good. the restaurants are reasonable and we ate in the Careenage on many occasions. Our only issues were with the front desk and the up front payment that was taken. We paid the balance in full upon departure yet i have now, having checked my account - the hotel has taken a spurious amount in excess of £100.00 and i have no knowledge what this is for, there has been no accompanying email or explanation and i am furious.. we have been visiting BB for 16 years and this has never happened before at any other hotel. I am very suspicious of this. I await response from the hotel. I note that there are no email contact addresses available for them - but found the hotel manager...... if the money is not re-credited to my account asap then i will visit the hotel later in the year.....to recoup with interest...!! Hence the rating which would have been 5 otherwise...
