Secrets royal beach punta Cana - excellent 2 week stay.

Excellent staff and service. Had a lovely time. Would go again. Note WiFi a bit intermittent m. Whilst Amstar expensive for trips, worth booking through them as we had unexpected illness very short notice and they flexed our trips around no problems.
Spectacular 5* in Punta Cana

This resort is a spectacular 5* star couples paradise. The rooms are well appointed with very large bathrooms with 2 sinks. The bed is very comfortable. The rooms are very clean and the air conditioning is cold. The rooms are not musty or damp. The dining options are excellent. The buffet was the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive, including at other Secrets properties. They had an amazing tuna tartare that we devoured each day. The Japanese restaurant was excellent. The service at all the restaurants is impeccable. The extra touches really make this resort special. The fresh passion fruit we had in our mojitos and mimosas was a delicious touch. The bar options are varied and creative. One of the main highlights of our stay was the gigantic beer bucket of Corona, Modelo, Stella, etc. at the show bar. We have never seen this at an all-inclusive. They also served drinks in coconuts beside the pool one day. The casino was very fun and provided good evening entertainment. The live violinist was incredible. What a nice way to relax and start the day each morning around the pool. The beach is unfortunately not what it was 20 years ago. The water was cloudy when we visited this time, not the crystal clear water that we remembered pre-hurricanes and sargassum. But the beach is gorgeous and walkable for miles. The pools are clean, there are many of them and the lazy river at the Dreams was a nice option as well. We highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing couples vacation with delicious food and drinks!
