This is a very beautiful resort, very clean and the landscaping is stunning. I have never seen so many palm trees. our room was nice but out dated. We had a nice big balcony with a beautiful view of the pool and ocean. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our favorite restaurant was Himitsu. We ate there twice. Once for the Tepanyaki and once to order from the menu. The sushi appetizer was the best I ever had. The entertainment was very good. Loved the Queen tribute band and the Rock and Roll night. The beach was gorgeous as usual. Punta Cana has the best beaches. The pools were very pretty. We were Preferred and we were surprised that there was hardly any seating around the pool. People got up @ 5 a.m. to reserve seats so they were all taken early. There is no ocean view from the pool which we really like. Pool service was terrible. We rarely got asked if we'd like a drink. One day 2 of the pool waitresses got into a loud verbal fight behind the pool bar. In the afternoon it became Party Central and it was very loud. It was not the relaxing serene Preferred atmosphere that they have at other Secrets resorts. Also smoking and vaping is allowed throughout the resort. They even offer people ash trays! Men and women were smoking cigars right next to us at the pool. That is the main reason we will never come back to this resort. Dreams next door is quiet by the Lazy River and they have excellent service. We ate @ the Seaside Grill and the food and service were excellent. We spent 2 days over there. Secrets really needs improvement.

Celebrated my 30 in the DR and we had a wonderful experience! Great service, amazing butler Ramses, and felt extremely safe! Our rooms were cleaned twice a day, we loved Hibachi, the water was very clear the whole time we were there. Sporadic rain showers but only lasted about ten minutes or so.
