I visited this resort to celebrate my boyfriend’s bday. The grounds are colorful and beautiful. Getting access to the resort (Dreams) next door was a plus The staff were very friendly, attentive, and provided awesome customer service. Food and drinks were perfect. The floating breakfast was awesome. Entertainment was nice. Rooms were clean to the eye but could use a deep cleaning. We would recommend and return to this resort

We went, end of October, at SRB in Punta Cana and we've been pleasantly surprised!!! We went in at least 5 different Secrets in Mexico and we are travelling in 5 stars Resorts at least once a year... We returned in Dominican Republic for the first time in 11 years. We were used to go to Gran Bahia Principe previously... Here our honest review... Food: Very good, especially the breakfast at the buffet. A la carte restaurants were ok. The restaurant at the beach doesn't serve lunch to non-preferred customers… which was a big deception for us. In most of the Secrets we went, this restaurant was opened to all guest at lunch time. Also, Preferred can book in advance at the A la carte Restaurants, which make the waiting time for non-preferred quite long... we wait every night over an 1 hour prior entering in all restaurants. Room: A bit smaller than what we are used to, but very clean and comfortable! We loved our big balcony with view on the pool. Beach: Amazing! Very large and you can walk for hours! Lounge can be hard to find - too much lounge are reserved for preferred customers. And we found the sellers on the beach quite harassing… Pools: Amazing!!! Bar and drinks: good drinks at the lobby bar. Other bars were just ok. Service on the beach was lacking... Shows and entertainment: We found the shows quite cool! We also found that resort was kind of a party place compare to other Secrets... Crowd: A lot of loud/drunk groups... more than what we're used to... we're 40 years old but we found it quite different then other Secrets... Staff: Amazing staff!!! Conclusion: Preferred takes up too much space in SRB compare to other Secrets. However, we still had an amazing stay for the price we paid... but wouldn't pay more for sure!!!
