Upscale resort which exceeded expectations.

You would have to devote a lot of energy to finding any significant downsides to this resort. An excellent experience overall. The variety and quality of the food and drinks were outstanding, with something sure to please everyone. The entertainment options were also varied and interesting and the professionalism of the performers was appreciated. Two particular favorite events were the fire show and a behind the scenes tour of the restaurants. The staff members were uniformly helpful and attentive and the beach was clean and not overcrowded, although there could have been more lounge chairs available because they were generally all occupied by 9am. We have been to multiple other all inclusive resorts in the Cancun area and this one beats out the others, even another Secrets property, and we look forward to visiting again in the near future.
Watered down alcoholic drinks and subpar food

Nice resort, clean, well manicured and maintained. Very friendly staff and customer service is a stand out. My gripe would be that the quality of the food is definitely below level of expectation and price paid. The alcoholic drinks were watered down and not very good at all. Bottom shelf/poor quality alcohol was used. Would not come again for these reasons. Been at multiple other resorts in the area which had much better food and drinks for less money.
