My husband and I visited Secrets Maroma Riviera last Sunday through Thursday and had a wonderful time. The jr suite with soaking tub was lovely! Pool, beach, restaurants and lobby/bar were all beautiful. B...y far the best part was the level of service. You feel like royalty. Roger Arroyo, Manuel, Leonardo, Abraham, and Angel all took great care of us and made us feel at home. The entertainment was fantastic!! There was something for everyone. Recommend checking out the various shows and music. Some of the lunch time food was pretty mid. Recommend the beachside grill for lunch. Tips: get to the pool early to secure a great spot. We are early birds and got to the restaurants when they opened and got seated right away. Try the cocktail of the day! Use the soaking tub.

Beautiful well kept resort with lots of open green spaces that made it feel very relaxed. The staff were exceptional. I have been to Mexico numerous times but have never had such attentive, genuine servic...e. Kudos to them all! Marvin was definitely my favorite for poolside drinks. Always there when needed and always remembered my drink choice. The entertainment staff including Juan and Sebastian kept us entertained. The performers were amazing! The staff in the food areas were very attentive. Even the grounds staff would smile and nod as we passed by. Keep up the good work everyone!

This is a beautiful, luxurious, and very nice resort and experience. Restaurants/food are excellent and geared towards a very high end culinary experience. Staff are extremely attentive and professional, s...etting is gorgeous, cleanliness/condition were top notch. Extremely relaxing and makes you feel like a VIP.

One single word (name)- Saul!!!! This man, absolutely made the check in experience extremely memorable and pleasant. It was simple fast yet detailed to a point where I was very happy. When I say every si...ngle resort should have this man as their guest host is an understatement. You cannot duplicate what he has. Thank you, Saul for making my first day incredible.

Our 4th visit was, once again, coming home to family! We spent 12 incredible days. To say we felt welcome and cared for by the staff who we have gotten to know on previous visits, is an understatement. I...t was also wonderful to connect with and get to know some new-to-us faces who we will look forward to seeing the NEXT time we come to Secrets Maroma! Check in process was smooth, thanks to Jennifer at the front desk. It was also nice to say hi to Rebecca, who helped us on our last visit when we needed to make some changes to our room. I’m always encouraged to see great staff who are continuing to offer good service. Our room in Building 26 was the best as it was close to the beach and our building concierge, Roger, was so attentive and helpful with any request or questions that we had – thank you! Beach and pool staff really made our vacation, as we spend the entire day, every day, at the beach. Bramden is an old friend and so amazing at his job – he ensured everything was just right. Edi, Mauricio and all the concierges are also absolutely fantastic. The beach wait staff made sure we always had a cold drink in our hands – special shout out to Heliodore who’s the best beach waiter ever! We were early birds at the World Café for breakfast and were greeted with a smile by Estafani as well as Berenice. Waiters Roberto and Freddy and every one of the waiters who served us, worked hard to ensure we had what we needed, especially the double espresso cappuccinos! We ate lunch most days at the Seaside and the staff there welcomed us back with open arms. Hostesses Carolina, Maria and Itzel and all the waiters – especially Carlos – made each meal a pleasure. We were blessed with a number of special, off-menu treats, thanks to Chef Juan’s culinary skills. One of the many special things about Secrets Maroma, is the food, especially the dinner restaurants. I am amazed every time we visit, how well prepared the food is. I love meat and I love grilled veggies. Every vegetable is done to perfection – not too soft, not too hard, and wonderfully seasoned. That is talent! We ate most often at Portofino and Bordeaux, as well as Himitsu and one night at La Terrazza. Portofino: Diana, the hostess, was lovely every time we came. Bernardo and William were the wonderful waiters who served us there – and Ana! She was such a warm and bubbly personality who gave outstanding service. On our last night, manager Estaban arranged for the chef, Cesar, to prepare a special pasta dish at our table which was not just fun to watch, but wonderful to eat! Bordeaux: Lorena was a great hostess and the wait staff are fantastic. Sebastian, Raul, Eric and Pablo – thank you! It is hard to order a starter at this restaurant because the cheese plate that comes ahead of the main course is so good and I find I have to pace myself or I will be too full for the crème brule! Roxanna and Yesenia welcomed us whenever we came to the Himitsu. We love having the option of having a lighter dinner if we choose, and just ordering some sushi which always tastes great. All the waiters gave great service, especially Fransisco who we know from our past visits. Love the option for Mediterranean cuisine at La Terazza. The duck there is fantastic and waiter Salvador gave excellent service. We spent time every evening at the Lobby Bar – Carmen and Jessica, our dear friends, we love you!!! Thank you to the rest of the staff there as well, especially Neydi, for taking such good care of us. There are a number of operational staff, who are always around the resort, who take care of the millions of details to ensure that everyone’s vacation runs smoothly. Rodrigo is the Energizer Bunny of all time! From early morning and into the evening he can be seen buzzing around the property – however, he would always stop and talk with us and we have thoroughly enjoy getting to know him over the last few years. I hope Secrets Maroma knows what a gem he is and how crucial to their operational success. This also applies to our dear friend Gabriella, who works alongside him. These two were also responsible in arranging some special lunches for us, treating us like family and contributing to the wonderful vacation we were able to enjoy. No one should hesitate to visit Secrets Maroma – the property, the beautiful beach and mostly, the incredible staff. Before we arrived for this visit, we had already booked my regular birthday trip for the end of August, when we will once again experience paradise, for two full weeks – we can’t wait!
