worth the price (Diana is the best concierge)

Diana was my building concierge, and she needs a raise for going above and beyond for me and my mom. She was available any time we needed help (eg extra towels). She went the extra mile to find out when my departure pick up was since there was no sunwing rep at the hotel. She booked the SPECIFIC bali bed that my mom liked. She had noted that mom and I don’t drink alcohol and so for her birthday, she send apple cider. There was even a Happy Birthday banner for my mom! At the beach Mauricio and Luis took extra care of my mom. They made sure she had enough towels and drinks. Claudia and juan jose at the beach were frequent and got the order correct every time. Spa: anna was terrible. I had more of a backache AFTER the massage than I did before. Juliana for my first massage was AMAZING! Our flight was later in the day and we used the hospitality suite. That was the biggest let down. you only get them for 30 mins and that isnt enough time. There was also soap and hair dryer missing from it, and waiting for those further cuts into the 30 mins.
Fantastic Secrets Maroma

We celebrated our 48th anniversary at Secrets Maroma. We had an outstanding vacation for 12 days. Check in was fast and easy and the employees were polite and friendly. We stayed in building 25 and had Emmanuel as our building concierge. He did an excellent job keeping us informed of all the daily activities and took care of any of our needs throughout our stay. What a great employee. We would like to recognize a lot of employees throughout the resort. The entertainment team does an outstanding job keeping the guests active with games and all types of sports. Thanks to Sebastian, Leo, Omar, David, Abraham, Juan, Andres, Natile, Brandom, Javier, Ulysses, Hugo, Andre, Hector, Edgar, and Gabriel. The entertainment team is so friendly, polite and smiling. The pool concierges do an excellent job each day making sure all the guests are well taken care of. The set up your pool loungers, bring towels, move and adjust the umbrella, bring cold towels, and even clean your sunglasses. Thanks to Brandon, Louis, Hugo and Manuel. What a great bunch of guys! Victor the pool server is always ready to get your drink and make sure you have anything you need and will even pick up your dishes after eating at poolside. Great guy. Angel at the Preferred Cub is so friendly and nice to all the guests. He makes the greatest drinks and treats the guests with respect. Rosy at Co Co Cafe is always smiling and friendly and is happy to serve the guests. At the lobby bar, Jessica and Carmen do an outstanding job each and every day. They are so polite ,friendly and smiling and will get you anything if you ask. Luis at the pizza station by the pool makes great pizza and is nice and friendly. Gabriela is so nice, friendly and polite. All the restaurants are very good and they all treat the guests very well. A special thanks to Francisco, Carlos, and Yesenia at Himitsu for making our anniversary dinner special. It was so good and we will remember that for a long time. The landscape workers really take care of the beach areas everyday along with the resort areas. They do a great job. Housekeeping was excellent each and every day. Thanks to Freddy and all the servers and hostesses at the morning buffet. They are so nice, friendly, and quick service. One special thanks goes out to Brandom from the entertainment team. He took his own time off to see us before we left the resort. He has the greatest outlook on life and he treats everyone with the upmost respect. He enjoys working and meeting people from all over the world. What a fantastic employee at Secrets Maroma! Thanks for just being you and we can’t wait to come back. Lastly, we would like to thank Javier Estelrich, the general manager, along with Johanna Reside, the chief concierge and buildings manager for a great job they do everyday. They are always walking the resort and talking with the guests. They have put together a great team of employees that treat all the guests with respect. Poncho and Maria will definitely be returning to Secrets Maroma in the future.
